Falx was searching for the perfect title.
This, he felt, was the most important thing that he would do in his young life! Mummy was quite accurately described as the Savage Nymph, a name that invoked both ruthless passion and the destructive capacity of nature. Daddy was a Graceful Assassin, and nothing more needed to be said about his refined looks and sterling abilities. Falx admired both of his parents very much. He imagined that settling on a nickname of his own would set him on the path to become as great of an adult as they were! It would define his very self.
But what to choose? He was at a loss. Terms belonging to other Nobodies were right out, and Falx had derived precious little inspiration from popular human culture. The few times he had caught a glimpse of human 'television' at the HQ he had been subjected to all sorts of unsuitable role models. 'Sailor Nobody' or 'Salmon Ranger' were not the sorts of names that could do any kitsusagi justice.
The kit gathered a random assortment of plants and dumped them in the middle of their main living area, hoping that seeing them all together would grant some sort of inspiration.
The 'Elegant Iris'? The 'Creeping Rose'? No way! Falx was a boy. His tails swishes back and forth with annoyance. Encompassing his greatness was more difficult than Falx had thought it would be.

She was a bit nervous now. It actually happened very often to her; this jittery feeling. Strange how it always happened- especially since she would always decline her aunt's offering of sugar and caffeinated drinks. Perhaps it was in her nature to be this way, perhaps. Yet somethings truly made her wonder sometimes- like how she could have two fathers and no mother. Was this truly a possible feat? No, no, no, no, no, no, all books define it as no.
Deciding to continue her research on this she stumbled upon a scene. Her young Uncle was in the living room, plants scattered around him in the center. Why was no one here? Why was no one here to ask him what he was doing with so many many many plants. It was strange; so strange to her. Why not ask him? Well...she was scared of Uncle Falx. He was so strange to her in a few ways. For some reason he got along well with Grandmother, yet at the same time she didn't seem to favor him too much. Perhaps it was her imagination though.
"...What are you doing...Uncle?" She asked timidly, regretting her actions. Why did words seem to come out of her so magically without note? It was a curse from her dearest father...the blond one that is.

"Small niece!" Falx cheerfully beckoned Liadian closer. "You look marvelously cute today! That shy look makes you like a flower that's waiting to open."
In truth, Falx was much smaller than Liadian, and she was more like an older sister than a niece, but that did not deter him in the slightest. He hoped she enjoyed his compliment! He had been practicing in front of a mirror. Most people liked compliments and Falx wanted people to like him, unless they were boors, in which case he would call for Mummy or maybe bite them.
"What do you think?" He pulled a flowered branch towards himself and winsomely posed with it. "Do I look like a wisteria to you?"

Liadian recoiled lightly from her Uncle's realization, feeling claustrophobic as the frazzled hair boy came closer to her. She was not use to much social contact as of her, due to her sheltered nature. Her Grandmother was very strict with her limitations of venturing outdoors. She would always say, with a stern glare and her arms crossed, that many terrible people lurked outside of the HQ.
This saddened her at times, as both her fathers lived on the other side of the Mountain- in the Realm she believed it was called. Perhaps one day when both she and Falx were a little bit older he could take her there secretly. Maybe her older aunt might as well. It seemed like such a huge maybe to her at this time now though.
"T-Thank you, Uncle." she gently replied. Her Uncle had a very unique way with wording. She saw sometimes the other little ladies would always be swooned by him and his charm. He must have gotten it from her Grandfather, Marluxia. Of course- she didn't seem him around too much.
Wisteria...small purple flowers that usually hanged from vines. She saw them in picture books that Grandmother would sometimes fetch for her (for some reason they had light splatters of red on the cover sometimes). Uncle Falx was very creative with his surroundings...albeit a little messy.
"..You look lovely," she complimented quietly, pulling on the edges of her black shirt nervously. She hoped Falx would stop playing around just a teeny bit though. After all- Grandmother asked her to fetch him and she wouldn't be too pleased if Liadian was tardy.

Ah, Falx wished that his cute niece wouldn't shy away from him! It was true that there was a certain charm to the way she shied back from him, like a bunny wary of a fox, but Falx was her uncle! It didn't say a lot for his charm if he went around giving his family members fits of nerves.
"Thank you, bluebell!" Falx chirped.
He let the wisteria drop after shooting it a critical look. Liadian was right. Lovely? A boy shouldn't be lovely! What had Falx been thinking? Fate must have sent her to rescue him of an eternity of being Falx the Cunning Wisteria and having to fend off the advances of muscular males with poor hygiene habits.
"Of course you look even better. There's nothing more lovely than a maiden in springtime! The picture book that Daddums gave me said so in very large print."
He trotted over to snuggle Liadian's side, and was relieved when he did not shock her.

Liadian nodded at her brother for his thanks. She was usually use to being thanked. It was always by her Grandmother though. Strange feeling whenever it occurred though; especially when her Aunt Mixali claimed that Grandmother would never appreciate anything other than herself.
The last time it happened when Liadian was practicing her powers. She had an abnormally high speed and could usually run so quickly when the power was active that not even the naked eye could see her.
It was strange truly. Not the power- her mother complimenting her. Nevertheless she was happy to receive such comments from a creature as Grandmother.
As soon as he snuggled up to her she made a small 'eep' sound, quickly stepping away from him. She was not shocked yet she was still quite uncomfortable with small touches. "U-Um, I'm sorry for disturbing you and your thinking, Uncle Falx--but Grandmother asked me to take you to her and she does not like tardiness!" A quick blurt out but it wasn't easy as it sounded. She only hoped that Uncle Falx would understand.

Falx might not have out-right shocked Liadian, but his snuggling had left her a static-fraught mess. Her forelocks were plastered to her helmet, her tails had puffed out to twice their normal size, and all the fur that wasn't covered by her shirt stood straight up!
Falx refrained from laughing, but only barely. He wasn't that much of a gentleman yet. And Liadian looked like she'd been tumbled about in a clothes-dryer.
"Mmm, well, I can't refuse if it's my dearest Maman, can I? My absence would break her heart if she had one!"
Falx scented the air for the familiar iron scent of his mother's kunai, and then bounded off down the hall.
"Come on, bluebell! We mustn't be late. I know it's disappointing that you can't think about my title any more, but I'm sure we can think about it later! Splendor simply cannot be rushed."

Liadian noticed that Falx was giggling at her now, an act that confused her. Then again she never really laughed too much herself. Usually she would do such an act with her Aunt Mixali. Her eyes trailed down at herself and noticed that her fur was frazzled. Her hair probably didn't look any better. "U-Uncle Falx, please refrain from hugging me. This always happens and its quite uncomfortable." Not that Uncle Falx would listen to her.
Of course he didn't listen to her; he was too busying dashing down the hallway towards Grandmother. Liadian sighed a little and started to rush out after him. After Grandmother would dismiss her she could go and fix the mess she was right now. Oh stupid Uncle Falx and his uncontrollable powers!

Falx found his dear Mummy outside, looking as handsome as always. Dashing was not a term that one often applied to a femme, but Falx felt that it fit Larxene quite well. All that chain and leather was not exactly feminine, and those razor-sharp bangs of hers could probably cut glass.
"Mummy!" He exclaimed happily. "I missed you!"
Falx trotted forward to hug his Mummy's side, heedless of her infamous temper. He didn't know if his power worked the same way that hers did, nor did he know if she could use her ability to neutralize his own, but her costume should keep her from feeling the subtle electric charge that he carried wherever he went.
"You are a vision of loveliness!"
