The smile on her face could not be denied be others. The silver pelt she seemed to wash every day was groomed to perfection. And, her eyes were gleaming with happiness. The night before had not been too good for her, however. She had broken in front of the one she loved... The one she cherished, admired. Now, it seemed all of their problems had washed away upon the river. Though, the feeling of dread, the feeling of losing him continued to hurt her.
Would she finally be able to tell him of her feeling?

Feathersong had also groomed his pelt before going on a walk with Silverriver. Something was bothering him but he didn't quite know what it was. He ignored it padded on by her side. A smile forming on his face, one of the few he ever showed. With Silverriver, Feathersong found it safe to reveal all of his deepest feelings with her. "Where do you want to go?" Feathersong asked as he padded alongside Silverrier tail twining with hers.

Silverriver looked to the gray tom with such love in her eyes. He was unaware, still, that she was hiding the doubt in her eyes. Flicking her ears to the direction of the river, the silver she-cat knew where she wanted to go. "The border, or the River. I'd say the border of Riverclan and Thunderclan." She had her own reasons of going there. Some he found find out when they got there.

((You should claim us a slot for breeding. XD))
"Sure." Feathersong replied. He padded in that direction, soon it dawned on him the uncertainty in her eyes. Something was wrong. "What's wrong?" He asked. "You can tell me as much or as less as you would like."

(( I plan on it. XD ))
Silverriver froze when he asked. Sure, she could tell him. Then the aching feeling he would run from her overwhelmed her. Looking up at Feathersong she let out a painful sigh, "I have a feeling you might... I might... Lose you." Silverriver looked to the sun, dread consuming her again, "I continue to deny it, but it always comes back."

Feathersong looked back towards the she-cat he loved. "That would never happen. You're the only one for me. My life was empty, pointless, until you came along." His tone was serious but at the same time loving and compasionate. "I swear to StarClan I will never give another she-cat the love I have for you." Those wods were the truth and Feathersong knew it. He just hoped that Silverriver knew it too.

It took her a minute to absord him words, like a sponge. It took her a moment too, to belive him. Catching up with him Silverriver smiled again. Her muzzled rubbed up against his flanked lovingly. She would never lose him, right? "Let's go." Her eyes pointed in the direction of the river.

((We should have something to test out how strong their love is. A badger attacks them perhaps.))
Feathersong nodded and padded on alongside her, he happened to look up and saw that a cloud was shaped like a heart. Could it be? He blinked and instantly the heart-shaped cloud was gone.

((Oooo~ <3 I'm up for that. >3 ))
Silverriver looked up after Feathersong had lifted his head, to stare at the sky. She blinked. There was nothing in the sky, so what had he been staring at? With a shrug she continued further down the path to the river, noticing a large den, with rustling earthquaking from it, only little ways from it. "What is that?" Silverriver meowed cautiously.

Before Feathersong had a chance to reply a giant badger stepped out of the den inside of the den he could see 3 half-grown cubs. They could fight if they had to he thought to himself. This won't be easy. His pelt bristled, he had to protect Silverriver at all costs. He leapt up and pounce onto the bdger's back enbedding his claws in her pelt.

And at that moment, the badger attacked. It was all a blur, watching her mate jump to fight. He was protecting her - and Silverriver wanted to yell and protest. Though, her muscles did not move. Helpless memories of her family numbed her entire body.
A silver tom.... sprawled on the ground, blood gushing the side of his head, his brain revealed from the mass cut that revealed muscle, bone, tissue... And Silverriver, staring down, and she was screaming, screaming....

((T'was building off what you wrote. XDDD he won't die though. =3))
Feathersong kept on fighting when he saw a badger heading towards Silverriver. Why wasn't she running? He couldn't fight for the both of them at the same time! As fast as his legs could take him, Feathersong ran to Silverriver's side and swiped his claws down the bader's face. Blood spurted out and hit Feathersong's eyes. No! No! I need to protect Silverriver! How could he protect her half blind? Suddenly, the stench of badger hit the roof of his mouth and he spun around hissing menancingly. Unfortunately for him that was the wrong direction. The badger's scored down on his head and he fell...

(( Ooo~ The silver tom in that flashback was her father. XD This makes for a good plotness though! ))
Still, she was fozen. Against her will, trapped... It was her turn to die, face Starclan... She thought she could see the silver tom among the clouds, glowering down at her with a smile. Then, a sudden as it had appeared, another silver body had exploded towards her, pushing her away. Silverriver yowled quietly, switching back to reality and staring at Feathersong.
Who, instead of fighting, was collapsed on the ground, blood spurting and cover the ground. As close as she was, she saw a large cut engraved in his head. Her eyes widened, her mind running blank, the same memory coming back to her. And she screamed, a roar of sorrow and anger.
The badgers found their change at the horrified she-cat, pouncing at her immediately. They stalked up to her, while Silverriver layed close to Feathersong, sobbing menactically. If cats could cry, she was surely crying. The badgers had scored their claws down her back, blood welling from the wounds.
Yet she didn't care. She was going to die, but, he would live... She would protect him.
And while they continued, Silverriver felt a blast of anger and howled, turning around, her eyes glowing a demonic look.
And she pounced them, clawing their backs, litarally climbing to their heads and digging her claws into their eyes. While she did, blood continued to pour endlessly, and when she had killed them, exhuasted, weak, Silverriver turned back to Feathersong, a weak smile engraved in her face.
"I.... Love... you..." And then she collapsed too.

((I'm so pathetic. I'm actually crying. XD))
Feathersong's eyes opened slowly. He felt confused. He had awakened to the undeniable stench of blood. Who's blood? Then the flashbacks came to him and he remembered... The badgers had attacked and he had been struck in the head. Wait, Silverriver stood there. Had she been killed? No! No! Feathersong spung around agitating the wound that had just started to heal on his head. He stumbled then slipped in his puddle of blood. Struggling Feathersong managed to get up and he saw the sight that ripped out his heart.
There, was his beloved, the one who gave him meaing in his life... Silverriver. She was too on the ground with blood spilling out of her back. Why didn't she leave? She could've lived! Without her living would be pointless once more. Living in the shadows of other cats. No one liked him anyway. They all thought he was weird.
Running as fast as he could, which in turn was pretty slow, he rushed by her side. Sure enough the wound was huge, made by a badger of some sort. Feathersong dug through his mind to try and remember what helped blood but it was blank. After a heartbeat he remembered. Cobwebs. Desprately Feathersong looked around for them when at last the webs came in veiw.
As fast as possible Feathersong pushed the webs on Silverriver's wounds ignoring his own until it was covered. Tears welled up in his eyes as he nudged her with his paw. "Silverriver wake up. Please, it's not funny anymore. Please, I'm begging you! Don't leave me..." He laid next to her looking at her begging to StarClan she was messing with him by pretending. "Please"
A few moments passed and Feathersong stared at her more tears coming. This was the first time he ever showed so much emotion. And, if she didn't live, it would be the last... Quietly he whispered to her, even though only he could hear himself. "I-I I remebered when we were apprentices. You were the most popular cat in the clan. But you-you didn't ignore me like the rest. They told you that you-you, you would get my disease and become a weird emotionless freak. But... You ignored them and liked me for me... You gave my life meaning... You can't just leave me to suffer in this world... Without the love of another cat..."

(( I think this song should be their song. :3 ))
Silverriver had gone into a deep trance. Blood continued to leak out of the multiple scars that revealed muscle, and even... Bone. She was lucky that they had not managed to reach to her spine, or it would be all over for her. And, while she lay, half dead, Silverriver thought she could see a silver tom in the distance.
His silver coat was the same as her's, exactly. It was like she was seeing another image of herself. He smiled, flicking his tail, turning around, walking away, into darkness... She screamed and shouted, trying to catch up to him, yet all she did was plunge into darkness. Her icy blue eyes were the only thing that could be seen in the darkness.
She screamed. Wreathing back in fourth. But it didn't help.
Then she became subdued in the datkness, more helpless sobs emenating the darkened prison. She was alone... This was her punishment for having kits with a Shadowclan tom... This was her punishment...
Her ears suddenly flicked up.
She heard whispers, small, barely audiable whispers.
They surrounded and spoke to her like water. They made rippes in the darkness and light returned at each pleaing word. Silverriver knew the voice well, and she howled in delight. And, as she did, the light returned fully, and her eyes opened.
"Feather...." She murmured, only a meter of her eyes opening to look at the tom above her. Silverriver moved only a bit and curled up by him, aware of the pain that surged through her back, and created more blood, that oozed down her back.
She didn't care. She was with him.
