Hmmm. It's hard to say. I love all of the hawaiian food (except lomi lomi salmon! gonk ) especially haupia and chicken long rice. And lau lau. And Spam musubi... But I can't make up my mind. Does anyone else got their favorite local food?

OMG, all the options are awesome! it was so hard to choose. but, if i was on the mainland for a really long time (like i am every summer) when i came home the first thing i'd want was a spam musubi, so i just voted for that.
the only thing i don't particullarly like haupia, or poi. i know i'm hawaiian and it's pretty much blasphemous if a hawaiian doesn't like poi, but i'm sorry. i just don't really like it.
but favoritest local food EVER is definetly TAKO POKE!!! *drools* i could really go for some take poke right now!

I also like eating plate lunch from the place near the zoo called Rainbow Drive-In... if you've never gone there YOU SHOULD. and... i like Li Hing Mui candies biggrin and... Kulolo and Haupia razz

There's this little hole in the wall place near downtown, kind of close to the Long's drugs near HPU, I can't remember the name of it, but I'd always order this combo that had squid luau, laulau, lomi lomi salmon rice and mac salad. Hold the poi for me please, I never cared for Poi and could never understand the popularity of rancid 4 day old poi. Blech!

Oh yeah, I heart haupia. I've never been successful at making it, then again I've only tried using the pre-packaged dry haupia mix.
Haupia cake is the bestest!

My school just had hawaiian food today for Mayday biggrin
- Squid Lu'au heart
- Lomi Salmon
- Chicken Long Rice heart
- Kalua Pork
- Ahi Poke heart (i think? was it? idk what kind but i think it was...)
- Poi
- Pineapple heart
- Sweet Potatoes heart
- Haupia heart
- Chocolate Cake heart
(okay, so that last one doesnt count... It WAS super yummy cake though! XD)
