I just made this topic so I can know everybody's favorite animals~! whee Oh and make sure to share some facts about that animal! For me, my favorite animal is the Green Sea Turtle. It is a wild animal, totally. It feeds mainly on sea algae and jellyfish. They live in all of the warm, tropical oceans. They have an extra slow matabolism just like the Giant Galapogos Tortoise. When they feel threatened by predators such as sharks, they retreat into their hard, shell, which is actually part of their body. Green Sea Turtles are endangered because people hunt them for their meat to serve in fancy restaurants OR they get killed so people can get their shell and sell it or something. It's sad...when I grow up, I want to help them out! heart

My favorite animals are wolves and cats. I just love wolves, they are such wonderful creatures. And my many cats are my family. Lol, I once had nearly 40 cats once. But now I have less than ten. One of my kitties died the other day, it made me so sad. crying

Kay-VW My favorite animals are wolves and cats. I just love wolves, they are such wonderful creatures. And my many cats are my family. Lol, I once had nearly 40 cats once. But now I have less than ten. One of my kitties died the other day, it made me so sad. crying

foxes and wolves....foxes...well kuz of my fursona...n wolves....they r just plain BEAUTIFUL.....and majestic...my uncle had a pet wolf once...but they had to put it in a wild life reserve

The worst part about her dying though was that she was still a kitten.

My favorite animals (I have WAY more than one, but I can narrow it down to two.) are the snow leopard, the cougar, and the arctic wolf. Arctic wolves are pure white so that they can blend into the snow, but I just find it beautiful. Snow leopards are so graceful and have tails longer than their body needed for balance. Cougars are just so brave, and they are also very common where I live... so I really respect them. I know, they are kinda cheesy reasons to like these animals, but they are my favorite animals.

My favorites would be the wolf, the snow leopard, the lion, and the seagull.
I always admired the wolves' beauty and strong sense of family. I feel I can relate to the snow leopard, because they are quiet and shy. The lion, I really have no reason why, though it is my zodiac. And the seagull, because they seem mellow like myself

My favorite domesticated animals are easily Betta splendens and horses. Bettas are much more intelligent and full of personality than people give them credit for, and it's hard for me to think of anything about horses I don't like... the sheer power they're capable of if they want to, along with the fascinating social behaviors they have and their intelligence. I also have a deep fondness for rabbits now. We just got our first two a couple months ago and are completely smitten with their personalities.
As for wild animals go, I'm obviously a fan of wolves, have been my whole life... also a big fan of arctic geese, whale sharks, humpback whales, cheetahs, whitetail deer, foxes, groundhogs, red-bellied woodpeckers, doves of any kind...heck, it's hard to narrow it down. o.o

wolves. no questions asked. they're such amazing and beautiful creatures. their howl is like a lullaby to me, so soothing and relaxing... i dunno why people use it in scary movies. it's just retarded like that... i hate anyone who's afraid of wolves... rawr...

I have like 50 favorites even though i do love all, i would have to say that i love wombats XD  They make burrows in the ground that can stretch for quite awhile. They dig with powerful claws.Wombats are herbivores, their diet consisting mostly of grasses, sedges, herbs, bark and roots. Their incisor teeth somewhat resemble those of the placental rodents, being adapted for gnawing tough vegetation. Like many other herbivorous mammals, they have a large diastema between the incisors and the cheek teeth, which are relatively simple. They are also marsupials.
