Backstage at the Crownleaf theatre

Location: Near the not cold in a clump of high pines.

Description: A large nest like structure rests among a particularly high clump of pines. It is near the Not Cold, and yet it is a bit chilly here, as the forest reaches far higher than normal. The structure seems to be a theatre, which a group of bards have constructed for the sole purpose of amusing their fans. The branches on the outsides create wild shapes out of a small chick's imagination, the inside has room for several bards performing at once, and there is plenty of room for the audience.

Recently starting out, this theatre as of yet has no props, only simple costumes, but they will do their best to earn their keep.

When no show is on the bards will still gather here, planning their next performance or honing their skills.

Staff

Bards

These are the bards who are actively roleplayed as theatre staff.

Birch - Does a lot of the wingwork for the bards. The brain behind at least some of their plays and songs.


Fjord the Muse - known and appreciated for his beautiful singing voice. Was one of the bards responsible during the Fledgling Festival.


Crafters
Tousled - in charge of the crafter section. Dabbles in noise maker making.


Companions
Feather - Fjord's Pica, capable of simpler acting.

Bard related timeline

The storm when the egg was found.

* [X] The meeting place. Birch and Char talk about forming a bard troupe and Birch is "talked" into handling the recruiting.

* [X] Tousled and Birch meet later and she is recruited as the troupe's first crafter.

The storm when the Spectre hatched.

* [X] The following morning Birch meets Fjord near the meeting place and asks him to join the newly formed group.

* [X] Birch is taking a break from fixing up the Crownleaf theatre and is getting a visitor.

* [X] The longest night.

* [X] Songs and strangers. Char overhears Sequoia's song and decides that the male needs some education and guideance to become a better bard.

[X] The Crownleaf theatre. Birch is telling a spooky story to the Sentinels who are not sick of celebrating yet. Fjord continues with his sinister tale of the Above and Char ends the night with a heroic tale. Another drama is unfolding among the audience.

* [X] The graduation Everyone is checking out the new graduates and Birch asks Tousled to take care of the new crafter that will join the group.
