Tabbitha was the kind to dance to the beat of her own drum. She had naturally been inclined to exploring things that were not 'mainstream' and took delight in explaining her particular interests to others who might otherwise have no clue.
Today, she lounged about on the steps of the wooden cabin, blatantly blocking the path of anyone approaching or leaving the cabin. She wasn't going to move for anybody and she liked it that way. Any excuse to rebel against something.

Today hadn't been interesting at all, now had it? Madison was usually a very self-sufficient Kitsu--so long as he had someone or something new to investigate, he could keep himself entertained for hours! But that was the problem, see...There was nothing new! Unable to be discouraged that easily, he'd set out with the goal of finding something new today, picking his way amicably through the woods until he'd found the old log cabin that his uncle had often taken him too. Imagine his surprise to see someone blocking the way!
"Hello!" Maddie greeted, then paused a little. B wouldn't be pleased to see him acting so...well, uncool. "...You're a new face." He tried again, then paused once more. Hey, she had pink eyes! That was new. "I like your...eyes?" Yeah, all right, even he knew that sounded lame. Unconsciously, the male puffed his cheeks out, looking a little like a bullfrog as he tried to make himself feel more confident. "I'm Madison." He started over, puffing out the air he'd been holding and curiously noted that she seemed to just be hanging around. "Whatcha up to?"
