It's simple. They actually have as much homework as engineers, designers or architects. They just don't give a ******** about homework.

Of course, that works if you're in something theoretical like business, marketing, industrial relationship or communication studies, because the teachers pretty much grade your ability to communicate your ideas and defending them, knowledge of them notwithstanding (which by the way is pretty much the truth, people who hire graduates from these majors prefer people who can deal with people instead of people who know too much).

But if you're in architecture or design, which are majors that depend completely on your art projects, or if you're in engineering, which are much more scientific and rely a lot on practical learning, well, you have to do your homework, otherwise you'll fail miserably.
