I bet there have been a few threads like this, but I'd like to know: What song or songs do you just dream one day of playing in your band?
I would love to play the One Winged Angel orchestrated piece from Final Fantasy 7, it's so eerie and cool. whee

We were going to play a colluision of Pirates Of The Carribean music, but people thought it was "too hard".
That, and the Music Box song from Silent Hill 2, when you put all three music boxes inside the player in the hotel.

I would like my band to play POTC as well. I've seen my brother's school band play it, and I sounded just awesome. :3 My school band just focuses on other songs I've never heard of, but they're very challenging songs and they have a good melody to them. We play things like Funk Superman Theme, Soaring Through Ionian Skies, Pilatus Mountain of Dragons, etc.

I would love to play the music from Sweeney Todd!! The music sounds challenging it and it is very catchy. The only problem is that I would be singing the parts to the song instead of playing the music. XD

Zanarkand Theme
Suteki Da Ne
Maybe I'm A Lion
Vamo Alla Flamenco
And we've played POTC 1 and 2, 3 would be fun. I'd like to play Tocatta Marziale again as well.

We (The oboes) are trying to get our BD to let us play Sweeney Todd and Corpse Bride for Pumpkin Pops. (Halloween Concert. Dress in whatever we want, and not get in trouble! >w<)
I seriously want to play POTC 3, especially Davy's Theme, Melodies Of Life, and some Modern Rock. (30 Seconds to Mars, My Chemical Romance, Queen, others...)
Resident Evil, OWA, And Silent Hill are also musts.

The 8th grade band gets to vote for their spring piece. Two of the pieces were Beatles pieces. We voted, and Crazy Train won. *rock*
I'd like our band to play some Beatles tunes, some tunes from CATS....preferably Memory, Mr. Mistoffelees, Macavity the Mystery Cat, Jellicle Ball, etc. Corpse Bride would be nice, maybe some Queen. biggrin One Winged Angel would be GLORIOUS!
