~Rules and Guidelines~

These rules are set aside so that everyone within the guild, including moderators, will enjoy their time spent within the walls of this guild. So please read them and know them so that the moderators don't have to inform you, nor do the other guild members have to argue about them.

1. Do not argue with the moderators. They are here to make your time within the guild easier, without them, you wouldn't be able to operate within the guild on a day to day function.

2. All disputes will be held within your own private message inboxes. This will keep problems to a minimum. Any acts against this rule will result in getting suspended.

3. You must be at least Semi-Literate to roleplay within our Guild. One liners aren't excepted.

4. There will absolutely be no God-Moding allowed within the guild. First offense will result in a warning. If you reach a second, a moderator will decide what happens to you.

5. Members have no reason to create a thread unless being asked to do otherwise by a mod

6. Bio-Saiyan Hybrids are NOT being accepted. They have reached their capacity limit.

~How to Gain~

-Techniques: Techniques will have a certain amount of Ki Points. That amount of points will signify how many words need to be typed in order to learn the technique. If Big Bang were 500 Ki Points, it would take 500 words to learn the technique.
(One word is equivalent to 1 Ki point)

-Stats: There are four stats; Strength, Defense, Speed and Power Level. If you want to spend time raising stats instead of learning techniques or gaining zeni it will take 600 words to raise a stat by 1 point. The training continues to level up until it maxes out at level 40. You can do stat training anywhere.
(600 words are equivalent to 1 Stat point)

-Zeni: Zeni can be used to buy new items. Gaining zeni is the same as learning techniques and raising stats. Words are used to and how ever much type adds on to your zen. If you want to rp having a job or doing a personal mission and you type 1000 words of working you get 1000 zeni to spend on items. (1000 is just an example you don't have to get zeni in increments of 1000)
(One word is equivalent to 1 Zeni)

~Stat Value Description~

There are six important values essential to DBZ:ER

Strength - the quality or state of being strong; bodily or muscular power; mental power, force, or vigor.
Defense - resistance against attack; protection
Speed - rapidity in moving, going, traveling, proceeding, or performing; swiftness; celerity
Power Level - this is a gauge of how powerful your attacks using ki are
- If one person is using the Spirit Bomb against someone using a regular Ki Blast normally the Spirit Bomb would win but if the Power Level of one using the Ki Blast dwarfs that of the one using the Spirit Bomb then something as weak as a Ki Blast could be used to deflect or disrupt a technique as powerful as the Spirit Bomb.

Ki Points - the amount of ki you have shows how many techniques you can use before running out of power. Ki Points is also a scale of endurance. The ability or strength to continue or last despite fatigue, stress, or other adverse conditions.
- If someone has 10,000 Ki points then they would be capable of using a technique like the Tri-Beam, which is 1,000 Ki Points, ten times before running out of Ki. Running out of Ki results in passing out.
Zeni - the amount of cash you have to spend on items

This shows how your skills are in comparison to others.

~Combat~

Actions

The moves you make in battle are considered actions. In order to keep people from using a billion and one techniques at once, there is a limit. Everyone is limited to two actions per rpc, whether it's two offensive, two defensive, or whatever combination of techniques.

Ki Costs

The same cost required to learn a technique is subtracted for using a technique. Unless it has no cost, ki is drained from using it. Often times items do not require one to spend ki. Weapons do not require ki to use unless they have an effect. Usually effects require ki to use. Techniques that use external ki cost ki to use. Physical techniques do not drain ki but they do tire the body out as if they had. If a technique is labeled 800 ki points then you are drained that amount. Unless you have a technique that decreases or eliminates ki costs you have to pay for the techniques mentioned.

Damage

Doesn't matter if you're guild God (not real!), you have to take a hit sometime even if it's ineffective due to a vastly superior defense. You can't go an entire battle, unless it's REALLY short, without taking at least a little damage. No one likes someone who can't take a blow from time to time.

Auto-hitting & God-modding

Any form of cheating by automatic hits and controlling another player's character is considered God-modding. If you want to know more about it then you can always Google 'god-modding' or check it out on Wikipedia. But that's the gist of it. Here, an autohit is when you unleash an attack on someone and blatantly roleplay it out as if you hit someone or are controlling someone's character. You can roleplay out what you expect to happen but you can't post something like this:

John lashes out with swift strikes with his blade and easily cuts Yang in half because he wasn't paying attention and tying his shoe.

Or

John uses Inner Decapitation in order to pull Yang underground. With him underground he would have no way of getting out so John slashes Yang's throat. He then takes his body for his and sets off to the docks having won.

It's hard to say that the holder of the rpc John wasn't just being too hasty rather than cheating. But his whole process was wrong. He didn't give his opponent a chance to respond to his Inner Decapitation before he killed him and stole his body. For all he knew, the holder of the rpc Yang could have had a trick up his sleeve. That's not really that bad though some members find it bothersome. But it's nothing to be punished too harshly over and can easily be talked out between each other or each other and a mod. The only time where Auto-hitting is allowed--not God-modding--is after ones opponent doesn't respond for two or more days (Without notice) since the attackers last post. The attack is able to follow through after that time period and land on the target.

Death

Whenever a character dies the head to the Check-In Station located in Otherworld. Once you die you can either got to Heaven or Hell based on your life on earth. Before going to Heaven or Hell you can train with a Kai or Lord. To train with them details are listed within the Check-In Station thread. Once you die you can return back to life after 2 days of being dead. Since you can return to life within 2 days there is no need to wait on wishes to bring characters back to life. When you come back to life, you are revived in your profiles location. So if you're in the Turtle School you will be revived at Kame's House.

~Ki In This Guild~

What's a Double Power Day? What does it mean to learn techniques faster? What happens when you get free techniques? (All Aspects of Ki In The Guild)

It doesn't matter if the cost of the technique costs less, you are gifted a technique, or if you receive ki points from something, the amounts are placed on the specific profile. It is possible to share words for other rpc that one owns but not with other roleplayers rpcs. Whoever was part of an event are the only ones that get whatever from that event. They can be shared between them but no other rpc one owns that didn't take part.

Learning Techniques Normally

However many words you type in a post where you are allowed to count words is how many ki/zeni points you can spend and save. One of the easiest ways of counting ones words is by using Microsoft Word. However, there are places on the internet that count words. This is a good place to use: http://www.wordcounttool.com/ . In a simpler way, your words by skills. If you have enough of them you can use it to get a skill. The amount goes down like money so you have less to work with the more you spend. You can train for words where ever and whenever unless told not to. Movies and tournaments you don't count words. And counting of words can only be done in roleplay not somewhere like the Out of Character or Training Completion.

Learning Techniques On Power Days

There are rare times where the mods will announce that from this day up to this day, there will be a power day. Depending on the name it can double or even triple the amount of words you make. So if you make a 100 word post it is doubled to 200 or tripled to 300. However, to be honest, there are really only Double Power Days but it's not impossible to have a Triple Power Day. Just ruins the fun if you get the points tripled though. This can also been said differently. If you make 100 words of training and then try and get a skill. Rather than your words being doubled, the technique costs half. It's the same thing really. You can't double your words and half the technique though. That doesn't work. It's one or the other. There's a time frame so whatever days are within the days of the Power Days is what posts are eligible for the event. Double power day training completion posts are only counted during the double power days, not afterwards.

Free Techniques

May it be from an event or an announcement, you can get a number of techniques without having to train for them. You can choose which techniques to get at whatever cost. You're only limited to the number of free techniques you can have and what techniques your rpc can learn. Each technique is gained and you get the ki points for it just like you would if you trained to get it.

Free Ki Points

Free Ki points are treated like gained Ki points. You can use them however you desire to and can even share them with your other rpc regardless of if they earned the right or not.

Raw Ki & Reserved Ki/Techniques

When you give Ki to an rpc without using it to obtain a technique, that is raw ki. You're given that rpc plain ki and not giving them a technique. This can be done however much one desires. Any method of gaining ki can have the ki used in this way. Reserved ki and reserved techniques are techniques that cannot be added to the skill list of an rpc or are locked temporarily. The ki is not added for the techniques and are held in a place on the profile as are techniques gained. This happens when someone wants a technique that they currently get but would like to have reserved or locked on their list.

~World Martial Arts Tournament~

World Martial Arts Tournament (天下一武道会, Tenka'ichi Budōkai; Literally meaning "Best Martial Arts Tournament On Earth") refers to an event in the Dragon Ball manga, and in the anime series. In the guild a world tournament will be occurring every 3 months. The tournament features Earth's strongest fighters. Besides the title of World Martial Arts Champion, the winner of the tournament would get the considerable amount of zeni as a prize.

Rules

In the tournament, anyone who comes into contact outside of the ring, is knocked out for more than ten seconds, or gives up automatically loses. Poking someone in the eyes or hitting them in the groin is also not allowed. The most important rule is that killing the opponent is not allowed. Disobeying any of these rules results in disqualification from the tournament. These are basic rules but they may vary with different tournaments.

Divisions

There are two Divisions, the Junior Division and the Adult Division. These divisions are based on Class, not age. There is a cap of 40,000 Ki Points for those who have not made it through the Junior Division and a cap of 80,000 Ki Points for those who have not made it through the Adult Division. To enter in the Adult Division must be at least a C Class fighter.

- December

Times to look out for an Adult Tournament
