 Welcome all! My name is Jeremy Hughes. I will be treating you whether you be sick, inured, or anything else in which you'll need medical aid. In the event that I'm not here you can adress my wonderful friend, Nurse Madeline Meyers. Uh, please be cautious. I hope we will be able to fill your medical needs. And do not be afraid to give Javid, my bird, attention. He is quite the affectionate little guy. The rules I will allow Maddie, er, Miss Meyers to address.

Nurse Madaline Meyers sat on a medical bed, thumbing through a magizine. Behind a divider curtain, she could here a student dry heaving. This had been going on for sometime now. He'd run out of stomach fluids sometime ago. She stopped and gave the divider a dirty look on an especailly loud retch.
"Would you please keep it down? I'm trying to read here!"
A moan that just screamed 'I'd rather be dead' bounced back to the nurse.

Ryuk threw his hands up in frustration.
Ryuk: What the hell is wrong with you, Hachi?! He stabbed you through the stomach!!!
Dane ran up to him, and pushed him away, before putting an arm around Hachi and steering her back towards her cot.
Dane: You need to rest, litt'lun. Look at you, you're bleeding. Let us heal you up all nice and proper. Besides, if you stand too long, blood will fall onto that beautiful little doll.
Ryuk: But Broth-
Dane silenced his brother with a piercing glare.
Dane: I'll talk to you later. Leave.
Ryuk: But-
Dane: LEAVE, goddammit!

Hachi looked up at Dane as if she couldn't see him as she settled back down. She tried to think of a good reason why he would be being so kind to her but found none. She shied away from them and settled for staring at her doll.
Hinata steered Dane outside of the privacy curtain and told him to go talk to his brother. After fixing up Hachi as best she could she smiled. "We don't hate you because we both know what love does to people. It'll be alright" she said, putting a new compress of Hachi's forehead. She looked at Bender and smiled. "I'll leave the two of you to get re-aquainted" she said, recognizing the closeness between Hachi and the newcomer. She left, closing the curtain behind her.

Bender gave Hinata a confused look, and then turned to Hachi.
"Stabbed through the stomache!? Hachi,"
he turned to Ryuk.
"You, dark and creepy guy, someone, PLEASE tell me what the hell is going on!? Where's the book molester?"

"He's gone for now" Hachi said softly. "And it wasn't truly Lucas that stabbed me... He was posessed" she explained, looking up at Byron Eams with wild eyes. "He loves me... I know he does!" she stated somewhat hysterically.

Rodger was frantic, which was cute a little penguin entering just appearing frazzled beyond belief. But go figure the poor guy couldn't find Leia. So here he was entering the infirmary clickin' and clackin' like a wild penguin looking around as if searching for something or someone; Leia.

Bender ran forward, grabbing Hachi by the shoulders.
"HE WHAT!? Where is the bloody b******!? I'll kill the son of a b****... is that a f*****g penguin? Never mind! Hachi, are you ok!?"

Though her face was blank of any expression the tears leaking from the corners of her eyes were a dead giveaway. "I loved him so much!" she sobbed as she lost her composure and crumbled. "I knew he would kill me but I thought if it was what he wanted I'd give it to him!!! He looked like he was back to normal, like he was going to hold me like he used to... And then..." she choked on her words and fisted her hands in her sheets as she trembled.

"Damn darkie, Hachi you have to snap out of it! You dive in head first and wind up... YOU WIND UP LIKE THIS! Look at you! D***it! This is just how you got kicked out of heaven and your wings ripped out! I mean..."
His eyes widened.
"What the hell are those..."
he said, pointing to her wings.

Hachi looked back at the beautiful off-white wings that were sticking out from her back. She could already see the gray flecks coming in. Soon they'd be all black, signifying her fall from grace. "My wings... I think" she said, wiping at her eyes and feeling around the point they, (her wings), connected to her back to be sure they were real. With a lot of concentration she willed them to fold down and into her back like all other angels did to hide them. She looked back up at Byron like he was stupid. "I got kicked out because I tricked God... Not because I fell in love" she spat.

He patted her on the head, roughly.

"Actually it was a big voice: YOURS... Practically screaming in my ear every time I did something fun" she growled. "As for the wings... I really don't know. I just know I don't deserve to have them" she whispered as her melancholy sank back in.

He put his hand on her shoulder and smiled.

He laughed, giving her a comforting smile.

"Gee thanks" she growled, smacking his hand away. "And just what the hell happened to your vocabulary? Did you make out with a sailor so hard you switched tongues?" she spat back crassly. The Byron she knew of old was a rule-loving Bible banger who thought 'crap' was a bad word. A small part of her begrudgingly admitted she preferred the newer edgier version. "You know what, just leave me alone..." she sighed, rolling onto her side so her back was to him and feigning sleep. Slowly, however, she actually DID fall asleep.
