The only way you can possibly do custom songs anyway is with the 360 using the file exchange.

You'll need to be able to hack... I suggest to just wait for GH4 (supposedly it come out in October), because in it [according to GameInformer] you will be able to make custom songs on the game by simply placing the notes using a built-in song editor and let the game do all the hard parts (hacking, programming and the like) for you. twisted

ive seen it work but never tried

i heard you gotta like download your ps2 gh2 data onto a computer and then make a file then the list of songs will appear and then you can use itunes/etc. and drag and drop songs onto list

then they somehow appear on the gh2 game

theres more too it im preeety sure

but i dont remember

It's SUPER complicated. Yes,super complicated. You need a DVD burner,and like 2 other things you need,and MP3 files.

This will teach you everything and give you the programs needed. ScoreHero :: Guide to playing custom songs in GH2 (PS2) Take note you need a modded PS2, otherwise you cant make custom songs. Your PS2 needs to have the ablility to play burnt discs and/or load ISO files from your hard drive.

To make custom songs for Guitar Hero II, you need to download the Feedback Chart Editor or Guitar Hero Explorer.

You can make up custom made songs with Feedback but you can edit/change the songs in any PS2 Guitar Hero game (I don't think World Tour) with Guitar Hero Explorer.

If you want to download Feedback Chart Editor, click here. If you want to download Guitar Hero Explorer (which may be required), go and download uTorrent or BitTorrent first and go to a web site such as thepiratebay.org and download the Torrent file of Guitar Hero Explorer (which could be titled GHex).
