Them Gaia Online blues...
No, this isn't a thread raging about anything in particular. It's just lately, the spark seems to have gone out of mine and Gaia's relationship. Lately, I pretty much only have time to update my petition and check in here at the GIB. Yet whenever I look elsewhere, I find that it can't hold my attention anyway.
I used to think GCD was a great place, but now, on its good days, it seems like it's full of old repetitive topics, glorified hang-out-threads and fanclubs, etc. And on its bad days it's full of 4channers.
I've tried the games, but they get old fast.
So, the topic at hand is:
What do YOU do on Gaia when you're not hanging out in the GIB, and what's so great about it?
And do you ever lose sight of what keeps you hanging around on this website in the first place?

Yus I understand TIM T^T I to am in GiB all my gaian life.
I mostly just talk to my girl friend, and then if I get bored i ride my bike or play football.

Check out other guilds and talk to friends. But usually I get bored with in an hour.

I know what you mean, but then again, I've never been one to socialize everywhere anyways.
Back in the day I just had my RP thread and that lasted for a great long time.
These days though, I come to get my GIB fix, then hang in my art thread for a little. Thank the gaian gods for my MAGNIFICENT ARTISTIC TALENT! It keeps me occupied.
If everywhere around is dead, I may zip through the avatar arena to kill time. Otherwise, I am off and away to other places.

You know all of you say that you're only here for the GiB, yet we only really get a handful of new posts each day.
I myself have no idea what you're all going on about, Gaia is the same for me. I'm still checking up on Gaia Battle, other guilds, friends, allies, organising things within my own guild etc etc.
As busy and as fun as they all may be, I still want to leave Gaia. So next year as I'm off to boarding school for Sixth Form expect me to disappear.

I come on Gaia every day to do daily chance, mess around with my avi a bit, and read through the most recent posts here.
Occasionally I even post! =D
I don't pay much attention to the rest of Gaia unless there's something that draws my attention to it. I would if I had the time, or a greater inclination, but... I don't.

RP wit my highly active friend in her guild... I remember when I used to be roleplaying in five active guilds at a time.... couldn't have a second to yourself... *sighs happily* ah... the good days *misses my old rp's*

I get on Gaia every day, but I mostly lurk. I check on GiB every four hours or so xd
I spend most of my time on the Writer's Corner and the Art forums, though. I'm on a comics' group, and we're making our first project.
Aside from that... things have gotten a bit boring.
