Ebonypaw followed Swiftcloud out of the Shadowclan camp. This was only the second time she had been out and it never ceased to amaze her how large the world seemed to be. Her paw steps were soft and barly audible come from fighting her siblings all the time, she had learned quickly how to be silent for stalking.
As they walked Ebonypaw thought about the night when Swiftcloud had said he loved her. She was still confused about the matter, but she really did like him and his company that was for sure.

Swiftcloud walked out of the clan entrance and walked slowly to a good a hunting spot. He saw a big frog a few foxtails away from him. He glanced at Ebonypaw and turned away instantly. He dashed at the frog and thankfully caught it this time.

Ebonypaw flattened her ears and frowned a bit. The glance probably meant nothing, but as all she-cats, she read to much into it. Was he mad at her for telling him she wasn't sure? If she said I love you back would he shun her?
She smiled as he caught the frog not wanting to show the worried look she had had just a moment before. "Good catch." Ebonypaw commented simply. She kept padding fowards giving a glance back at the camp. She wanted to make sure no one heard their conversation. Ebonypaw was not one fore public displays of emotion.
"Umm Swiftcloud, do you mind if we hunt later? I wanna get away from the camp and talk, if that's ok?"
