The games that I wrote, are my nominations. o_o; I combined them w/ Gamecube and Gameboy Advance.

First of all, I don't think that the Spongebob Movie was the worst game. I assume that it is pretty bad, but I say the Polar Express turned into a game at Block Buster. For best soundtrack, if you mean an actual published soundtrack, then I have no clue. If you mean the music in general for the game, I'd have to go with Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and F-Zero GX (I have a CD of both that I made myself). I'd also say that the best multiplayer is actually Tales of Symphonia. ToS also gets best RPG in my opinion. I still think that once again, ToS is also best overall game of the year. I would also go with Jet Black as favorite villian (from VJ2, as you know). Basically, here's a list of a few of my opinions:

That's what I say. Also, when we get enough votes for the categories so that there is one game for each category that is clear, then we need to make a new topic called "Awards of 2004" that shows the results.

Finally, an UNBIASED VG poll. Really, did anyone see the one on Spike TV? It sucked. I hate how everyone assumes that everyone plays the same type of game. There was hardly any Nintendo.

I watched 10 minutes of it, and all I aquired was an unquenchable lust for murder. Thanks a lot Spike. Thanks a lot. scream

But SM64 DS wasn't a platformer. It was an adventure game. Platformers tend to be like the older Mario games and the Viewtiful Joe seires.

ehh...true. but best portable game then. that should be a catagory, best portable game of the year....

I don't think VJ would be a platformer. Platforming is more about precision jumping from..platform to platform, not beating the crap out of things,in the most stylish way ever.
