Robbie Watts was psyched. His nephew was an evolved, just like him! Well, not just like him, he didn't make coal turn into cute little animals, but...Nevertheless.
Robbie liked to play with his nephew, "Wy-yaaattt!" He had come to visit him, without announcing himself, and now pounced on the boy -- full body slam -- there in his front yard, "Hey!"

Wyatt crammed what was left of a pancake into his mouth when he heard someone call his name. "Hmm?" His head turned toward the front yard, where a familiar voice awaited him. He quickly swallowed the food stuck in his mouth so that he could find out just who was calling him while he was eating. "Uncle Robbie!" He yelled to the man in front of him, only moments before being forced to collapse under the elder man's force. Had the breath not been forced out of his lungs, he probably would have questioned his beloved uncle's random visit. At the moment, all he could do was smile.

"What's this I've been hearing?!" Robbie shouted gleefully. "Is my nephew an EVOLVED?!" he exclaimed loudly and enthusiastically. He promptly gave Wyatt a noogie, and then a bonecrushing hug.
"That's AWESOME! What do you do? Tell me-- no, show me!!" Robbie exclaimed, jumping to his feet and pulling his nephew along with him.
Awesome!

"What was that, Uncle Robbie? I don't think they heard you in France." Wyatt submitted himself to both the noogie and the hug, almost used to his uncle's fun-loving personality already.
"If you really want to see, then sure!" He replied excitedly, though he'd planned to show him regardless of whether he was asked or not. He held out both of his hands, palms-up. Two small orbs formed from nothingness in the center of each of them. They each extended until they were the size of tennis balls before they began floating around. His production continued, quickening each time, until ten couples of shiny, transparent bubbles orbited around them.

Robbie himself was getting more excited with each bubble Wyatt managed to create and made sounds of oooh and aaah as he watched. In fact, he was so excited that he started to slowly bounce from one leg to the other. The pace increased more and more as he watched until he nearly resembled a pendulum.
"Awesome!" He finally exploded cheerfully. All the bubbles were floooating and they were shiny and-- er-- bubbly-- but SURELY they could do something even MORE awesome!
"And what do they DO?!" Robbie was still beaming brightly and now looked at Wyatt with greeeeeat expectations.

Wyatt beamed with pride as his tiny creations floated around them. They began to bob in the same rhythm that Robbie had been bouncing to. His enthusiasm didn't falter at all, even when his uncle asked a question he wasn't sure how to answer.
He looked to his uncle with curious eyes. He'd never been asked to do anything with them. Nor had he really tested the grounds on what they could do. Although it probably wouldn't live up to Robbie's expectations -knowing his uncle, he probably thought something huge and exciting would happen- but it was something.
Two of the glistening orbs broke rank and floated to the two in the center. One landed on Wyatt's hands, the other stayed patiently in front of Robbie. "Try to pop it." His smile, though refusing to fade, dimmed slightly. His eyes sparkled brightly as they stared directly at the one still floating. He focused his concentration on its surface, forcing it to strengthen.

Yessss!!! Touch it and see the amazingness!!
VERY excited now, and filled with expectation, Robbie eagerly reached for the bubble and poked it.
It merely drifted away a bit further.
Robbie poked it again-- and again-- and AGAIN.
"Hah! They're not popping!" Robbie grinned gleefully and then went after ALL of them, fully intending to poke and prod and waft them ALL around! Woo hoo! It was BUBBLE POP TIME!

Wyatt laughed contently as his uncle tried to make the tiny bubble pop. "Yep, and it won't!" The funniest thing was that he continued to try. Over... And over... And over. Eventually, one of the two would give in. And for some reason, he was almost positive that it would be the bubble. He grinned pridefully, but lost the expression when his uncle went after the entire group. His eyes shut tightly, almost able to sense their positions. They would give way more than the individual one had, but it was unlikely that they would pop.

After a fun time of poking and squishing and trying to grasp them and cruuush them, Robbie finally quit, panting a bit as a did so. He turned around to his nephew and grinned widely at him, even as he gave him a thumbs-up.
"Awesomely done, Wy!" Robbie beamed, and then launched himself on top of his nephew, once more, and noogied him, once more.
"I mean-- bubbles that don't pop, how FRICKING AWESOME IS THAT?! Think of all the stuff you could market! All the toys-- kids'll LOVE it!!" Wyatt cheered.
"I don't think so," a second voice interrupted. Wyatt Senior was looking down at his son and his brother in law and smiling quite proudly at his son. "MY son is going to be a superhero, of course!" he boomed proudly (and LOUDLY).
"What?" Robbie protested. "A superh-- yeaaaah, theyr'e cool TOO!!" Super excitement came right back! "Oh maaaan, my little nephew is all growing up!" Robbie pretended to sob into Wyatt's chest.
Wyatt Sr. was still looking proudly and fondly at his son. (Grass stained and covered underneath a sobbing, grown man. Yup.)

Wyatt kept the tiny bubbles alive until Robbie was finally done with his attempts to have fun with them. They threatened to pop prematurely a few times, but he managed to channel enough energy to them until they were safe again. "Thanks!" He beamed again, his hands proudly placed on his hips. His stance was destroyed once the second man's body collided with his own. Even while underneath his uncle, Wyatt laughed excitedly.
"That would be so much fun! But I don't think..." He didn't finish, as his father already explained his reasoning. His smile fell into a frown for a moment before he recovered. "Oh, hi Dad!" He grinned, his hand waving from underneath Robbie. He blinked at the sobbing before realizing what was going on. He smiled up to his father, returning to content.

"Wyatt," his father inclined his head and smiled at Robbie. "And how are YOU doing today, Rob?"
Robbie had stopped pretend crying and now looked up at Wyatt sr. He jumped up and dragged his nephew along.
"Just fine, just fine. And even better when I heard about my nephew!" Robbie beamed. "How awesome, Wy-- an evolved!" Robbie sighed rather blissfully. "You're so lucky!"
"Indeed," Wyatt sr. agreed proudly. "Our very first evolved in the family. Now let's hope it will not be the last. I hope your siblings will live up to you, son!" Wyatt sr. arm fell around his son's shoulders.
Robbie grinned and bounded up ahead. "Now where's my sister? Yvooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonneeeeeeeeeeeee!" he shouted loudly, before bounding up into the house to go hug his sister.
Wyatt sr. was still smiling. "I think it will be time for a visit to the NSA headquarters today, don't you?" he asked while he smiled mischieviously.

Wyatt bounced back to his feet once his uncle's weight was lifted off him, though he didn't have much of a choice with Robbie's arm dragging him up. He rocked back and forth on his heels contently, grinning at his uncle. "But but but, you're really lucky, too, Uncle Robbie!" He pointed out with the smile still plastered onto his face. At his father's proud comment, his bright face lit up even more, however impossible it seemed. "I'm sure they will, yep!" Even if they weren't Evos, they'd still be amazing at whatever they did, he was sure. "Wait for meeeeeeeeeee!" He called out as Robbie ran toward the house, stopping at his father's voice. "If you say so, dad!" He smiled back to the man before again chasing his energetic uncle.
