First Gaian Annual Ball The first Event in Gaia's history actually was user-ran. It was a thread hosted by Misao (which you can find here), were the Admins surprised everybody by giving them special items: a Red Rose Corsage to the ladies and a Black Bow Tie to the gentlemen.

Easter 2k3 The first Easter event was a simple Egg Hunt. While browsing, users would occasionally find eggs floating around the screen; when clicking on them, you could choose between Bunny or Chicky Slippers.

Halloween 2k3 This is the first even on Gaia with NPCs involved. The premise was clear: you were to collect candy, going from shop to shop, and when you reached a certain amount you could give those candies to Jack, who would trade them for items.

Christmas 2k3 The last event of the year involved the NPCs Rina and Leon, from Barton Town. Rina set up a charity and asked Gaians to donate items worth at least 500 gold; those who donated got a pair of Jolly Slippers and, some time after the charity closed, everyone got a gift from Santa: Jolly Hat.
