Wow. Ronald McDonald was definintely the same creepy clown guy he is here when I was there. The McDonalds' there are really nice though. Much cleaner with nicer staff. They also have a burger with rice patties for buns, the McPork, and the Mega Mac. They also called the one of the chicken sandwiches a "Chicken Filet-o".

Interesting, creepy and a little disturbing...
That was one of the most bizzare commercials I've seen so far.

I wonder how that affects the reputation of the McDonald's coporation... I'd like to see what they would say if they tried to use that commercial in the U.S. ... heh, might increase business... twisted

when I was little, they used to have pretty weird commercials. there would be kids, they'd get sucked in to their coloring books, and then they'd see ronald.. and then the burglar would steal the hamburgers... and then they'd chase after.. etc etc.
I guess they were advertising to young men. 0-0

Skullchan Ever heard of Christmas KFC? I heard Colonel Sanders is pretty much Colonel Santa up there. xd Yes! There is one by my apartment. This Christmas they had a Snoopy campaign where for 1500 yen you could get this small cup and saucer. I totally got it. Despite it being advertised to kids... And yes they dress the colonel up as Santa outside the store xd

There aren't many "American" products being sold in Japan. But yea, American fast food essentially tastes the same no matter where you go. The Bigumaku just came to Japan recently. Just what Japan needs, our fast food fueld obesity problem.
