Yeah, my least favorite holiday is about to rear it's ugly head. Yup, I'm talking about Valentine's Day! What does Gaia have planned for us? Well Fleep had this to say in his most recent journal: Quote: Valentine's Day is coming again soon, and once again I'm on the coding end of it. It's likely that we'll try to do an enhanced version of last year's event, which went over pretty well except for the prizes (Gold + Labu Necklaces * 8 = fail). At the end of 2007, we tried to take all our traditional events and make them more unique than any event that we did prior to that: So, apparently we will be swapping saliva again this year (hurray! MONO!) and we'll be receiving cooler prizes/more money. (HURRAY PROSTITUTION!) What do we think?

I will be gone for Valentines day and that weekend.
I have to go to my baby cousin's baptism.
SO hopefully the items are not too cool. Or the event runs longer then the weekend.

I've been reading some of Fleep's posts, and he basically says that because only a "small percentage" of Gaians keep up with the plot, they take the back burner to things like sponsorships, cash shop items, etc.

I've been reading some of Fleep's posts, and he basically says that because only a "small percentage" of Gaians keep up with the plot, they take the back burner to things like sponsorships, cash shop items, etc. That's basically what Fleep said to me the last tinme I complained about the plot. It's bull s**t. that small percentage is still a good hundred people.

Besides of course all those goddamn newbs who don't care for s**t because they only want their items. So, blow up the GD, screw the Chatterbox, and long may live the GCD. Aznburninator Ugh, so now it's money first, Gaia plot second?! gonk You shouldn't be surprised... Gaia is a business, dear. They do need to get money in order to run. They hjave to pay for the servers, their employees.... etc. I mean... I don't particularly like any of their new changes. And, honestly (You are going to hear this a lot from me until gaia does something plot wise that I am impressed with) GiB is the only reason I come here any more.
