Hi guys! It's starting to get close to July (no really, only 5 months away!!), so I thought it might be good to start the dialogue on everyone's plans for AX 2008! Are you going for sure, planning on going? If you're not going that's alright too, but we'll miss the heck out of you. Anyway, I assume many of us will also be needing to reserve a hotel room(s), so I thought we might be able to talk about that as well if necessary.

I know the one thing that's worrying me this year is that AX will be held at the LA Convention Center. Not exactly the most convenient place considering the "special" location, and that hotels are a little way off from the LACC. I heard there will be free 24-hour shuttles to and from the sponsored hotels and LACC so that may alleviate a bit of my worrying.

But enough about my anxiety. I want to hear from you. Yes, you! Sound-off, AG!!

I was planning on going. The hotel situation does make things up in the air. Usually I get the closest hotel to the site but in this case, it's not worth it to be in that part of the city. However, this makes coordinating things to be in the same general area of LA as other friends difficult.

For E3 my friends just picked a hotel that they liked (mostly because just one person was organizing it) and that was in a nice area and good for hanging out. Until AX puts up hotels though, who knows.

One of these days I am seriously going to come visit you. If I ever get enough money to go to the world yo-yo contest, that is. I can totally skip a day of yo-yo s**t and we can hang out. heart
