Remember how Geneon died? Higurashi was lost forever right there. ADV is apparently dying too. Many recently licensed series by them is on "indefinite hiatus." That includes Gurren Lagann and Kanon. Gurren Lagann is considered by a mecha that can reach a status as good as Gunbuster as it gets older. Kanon is one of the greatest waterworks series ever. This doesn't necessarily mean much, but it might point out that ADV might be slowly leaving the anime industry, or it might be trying to recover by relinquishing many of their series. Gurren Lagann may be lost forever.
