Talutah




Name: Talutah
Meaning: 'Blood red'
Location: Roguelands
Siblings: None
Mate: None
Children: None

Personality: Talutah is a rogue hyena, she's been alone for basically her whole life. Traveling alone and hunting alone have made her a bit cynical. She has come to believe that others are out to get her and that she could be attached at any moment. As you can imagine this gives Talutah a lot of stress and anxiety. She has become sly and cunning in order to survive with her difficult-to-hunt-with coat. Strangers have to be patient with Talutah, because it is hard to earn her trust.

But Talutah is really a very lonely hyena and doesn't have anyone. This lack of friends makes Talutah believe that there much be something wrong with her. Or that her personality makes her unable to make friends. She is often jealous of those who have a family or who have friends.

History:Talutah's past is a blur to her. All she really knows is that she was abandoned by her family. She doesn't know if they are alive or if they were killed by a predator or something. Talutah doesn't even remember what her family looks like.

The real story (that she doesn't know): When she was just a pup, Talutah's mother grew sick and died. This was devistating to her father, who had been with his mate all his life. Unable to deal with his loss, Talutah's father left Talutah for dead. She was the only child they ever had and Talutah's father blamed her for the death of his mate. He said that taking care of Talutah weaken and killed her. So he left her to die, but somehow Talutah managed to live on her own and has lived that way ever since.

Azubuike




Name: Azubuike
Meaning: 'Strength is in your past'
Location: Roguelands
Siblings: None
Mate: None
Children: None

Personality: Friendly, loyal, well-mannered etc....Azubuike is pretty much your all around good guy. He has never felt shy and won't hesitate to walk right up to someone and become their friend. To Azubuike, friends are the most important things you can have. But, having spent much of his life alone, Azubuike doesn't have many friends. In fact, he has found his life to be quite boring. So, being the friendly guy he is, Azubuike set out to find himself some excitement. He is constantly searching for something to spice up his life. This sends the wild dog all over the Savannah. But he has never been one to complain or show discomfort; instead he goes on his way, happy and determined to change his life.

History: Not much is known about his past. It isn't a subject that Azubuike likes to get into. All he will say is that he has no family and has lived alone for most of his life. If you ask about his past, Azubuike will either change the subject or say he'd rather 'stick to more pleasant conversation'.

Name: Edom
Meaning: Red, earthy, of blood.
Gender: Male
Pride: Mwana-a'Lela
Siblings: Yeye'sisimka, Morwa'Shetani, and Savitri'Li.

Children: None

Personality: Edom is, well, an interesting cub. He seems to have taken the best and the worst of of both of his parents. For the most part, he is quite the little gentleman. Even at his young age, Edom acts like a tiny knight, ready to help if any female get in trouble. But he is still young, and therefore, likes to get his way...all the time. Sounds pretty normal, huh? Well, at seemingly random moments or moments of high stress, his personality does a 360. Edom goes from being Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde. During these moments Edom is no longer a gentleman and could really care less about anyone around him. At these times, he is emotionally unstable and is capable of just about anything. This part of the cub comes from his insane mother. He goes crazy to a point that he could even hurt himself or even one of his siblings; because during these times, Edom loses all respect for life. Whether it's for his life or the life of his family. But these moments tend to be short-lived and Edom quickly returns to normal. He often has no memory of his temporary insanity and can go about his business when they are over. But there are times when Edom does remember what happens during these periods where his body and mind are out of his control. These memories scare the cub and will eventually lead him into paranoia because of the fear his has of these 'crazy moments'.
