It was yet another boring, plain day for Rena. She had virtually found nothing she deemed worthing of taking home in the growing months. She was beginning to think the mountain wasn't the ideal place for cute things. There wasn't even a trash heap here, which were always filled with treasures to collect. Rena rolled onto her back and closed her eyes. Who knows maybe something cute would find its way to her.

Flying wasn't a new thing for Hanyuu; she'd been able to do it without the help of wings, after all, being the resident diety of Hinamizawa. The addition of wings, though, required learning to use, though, thankfully, it hadn't taken too long to work out.
As it was, though, the fact that this wasn't Hinamizawa, and that Rika wasn't there, worried Hanyuu, as the idea of resetting time and arriving somewhere other than the village was, well, unheard of. The lack of an Angel Morte cafe bugged her, too, though that was more of the fact that it meant no cream puffs.
Trying to do her best not to collide with any trees, Hanyuu flew onwards, searching for a sign of the familiar, before coming across Rena. While this was better than coming across Takano, she couldn't be quite sure if this was any better or not.
"Auauauau~" Hanyuu uttered quietly.

Rena's ears perked up slightly, while she was sure it had probably been her imagination she was sure she had just heard something. Had Oyashiro-sama followed her to this place too?
Rena yawned and stretched, getting back on her feet she decided to look around a bit. Maybe what she had heard had been a cute loli or something of the like.

In technicality, yes, Oyashiro-sama had, indeed, followed Rena to the Mountain, though it was pure coincidence more than anything...perhaps. If the others started showing up, then perhaps Hanyuu could work with Rika to figure out an actual reason for their arrival, but as was, Rika, nor Bernkastel, was here at the moment, and the demon god was left on her own.
Silently approaching the red haired cute-thing-loving-and-abducting Kitsu, Hanyuu thought best how to announce her prescence.

Having glanced around at her surroundings, Rena still was yet to see whatever she had heard. She had even looked in the nearby bushes, which had turned up with nothing either.
The red-head flopped back down on the ground disappointed her search had turned up with nothing. She had been so ready to find some cute thing to take home.

It took a bit to work up the courage to make herself visible.
Or, rather, it took a bit of thinking as to whether or not she could make herself visible. Tuuli seemed to be able of seeing her, yes, but Tuuli was, well, weird. And crazy. And highly delusional as it was.
Hanyuu rather hoped the kit didn't have Hinamizawa Syndrome; clawing one's throat out was never the way to go.
"Auauaua~" the purple haired diety fretted, landing near Rena, "R-Rena-san?"

Rena looked up from where she was laying, though she would have known that voice anywhere, even if it had been awhile since she had last seen the little deity.
She immediately got to her feet and grabbed up Hanyuu. After all she hadn't seen Hanyuu in quiet some time. It was time to do some serious omochikaeri-ing.

Oh dear; she'd been afraid of that, though Hanyuu never seemed to predict when, exactly, Rena would attempt to abduct something she deemed cute. It was how the treasure hunter had managed to nearly run off with the diety three times in one school day, after all, despite being tied down.
"R-Rena!" Hanyuu exclaimed, a look of terror on her face as the redhaired kitsu started to cart her off, "T-this isn't the time for this, auauauau~!"

Rena certainly didn't see why this wasn't the perfect time to cart off Hanyuu and after all there would be creme puffs in this for Hanyuu later. Though this was mostly only because there was nothing cuter then watching the purple-haired diety eat one.
And maybe if Rena was lucky she'd get to dress up Hanyuu too. After all the little kitsu would look adorable in a frilly dress or maybe even a school swimsuit.

Well, yes, creme puffs were always nice, especially when one was fairly intangible most of the time and couldn't get any on her own, but still! This was a serious situation here, with the possible goof up in the move to the next world [which shouldn't have happened, anyways, because hello, mysteries were solved, Rika didn't die, and so forth]. This certainly was not 'take-it-home' time!
"Auauauauau~" went the diety.
"Stop right there, by order of the princess!" came a new voice. "Unhand that kitsu at once!"

Normally Rena wouldn't stop for anything while she was in "take-it-home" mode unless of course she was stopped in some way that might involved her ending in being tied up. Of course not that that would totally stop her but it would happen to slow her down. But the voice she had heard sounded very familiar and the red-haired Kitsu knew at once who it was at the mention of princess.
Rena turned at once to see the small blue kit known as Tuuli. Rena had met Tuuli in an earlier outing and though her attempts to omochikaeri the princess had failed she still hoped she could take the kit home.
"Hauuuu~ it's the little princess again!" she said totally not noticing what Tuuli had said while still in "take-it-home" mode. Rena approached Tuuli while still holding on to Hanyuu. Omochikaeri-ing two cute things in one day, this was almost to good to be true!

But even being tied up wasn't fool-proof, nor was, well, much of anything, save for maybe encountering Takano or Oishi or something like that. In any case, when Tuuli spoke up, even Hanyuu couldn't help but pause in her fretting to glance at the blue-furred pseudo-princess.
"P-princess...?" she repeated, remembering Tuuli going on about it earlier. What on earth did Tuuli think she could do to avert a crisis?
"Insubordination is not tolerated within my kingdom!" the kit insisted, "Release the shrine god, or face punishment!"

Well if Tuuli expected to stop Rena that way she was truly mistaken. If anything the kit was just making herself another omochikaeri target.
"Did the princess come to be taken home too I wonder, I wonder?"
Threatening Rena with punishment wasn't going to stop her. Anything that Tuuli was saying probably wasn't registering with the red-haired kitsu by now. Rena was only thinking about one thing by this point, how to take both of these cute little kitsu home.

Tuuli tended to be mistaken about a lot of things, really, including the fact that she was a princess. Regardless, the kit thought herself as capable of taking on Rena, or any grown kitsu, for that matter, and no omochikaeri-ing would stop her.
"I most certainly did not come to be taken home!" she protested, "Unless this home you speak of is my former kingdom!"
Ignoring Hanyuu's attempts at signaling to the kit that this was hopeless, Tuuli rambled on.
"That kitsu you hold there is a vital key to the war against the evil witch, and I shall not allow her to be abducted!"

Though Rena knew Tuuli to be quite the pain when trying to omochikaeri that knowledge still didn't stop her. Tuuli's resistance was cute in Rena's eyes afterall.
However mentioning wanting to be taken home to her former kingdom was a large mistake on Tuuli's part for the red-haired kitsu only acknowledged that Tuuli said she wanted to be taken home. Rena could after all twist what Tuuli had said anyway she liked anyways.
Without waiting another second Rena grabbed the little kit and began to cart both her and Hanyuu off.
