Bobtail Kitsusagi
This strain of kitsusagi has an interesting tale embedded in the Mountain's recent history. The Bobtail kitsusagi (as they have been fondly called) actually originated from the normal species of kitsusagi. Once, the Demons of the Mountain kidnapped many normal kitsusagi and placed a curse upon them. This curse shrunk their bodies into much weaker shapes and reduced their long tails to mere stubs of what they were before. The first generation of this species bear the mark of the curse upon their ears, symbolizing that they were in fact originally normal kitsusagi. Any generation following the first only bears the mark of the curse upon their egg shell.
Bobtails grow up to be about the size of an adolescent normal kitsusagi. They have furry tips to their ears and have three short tails resembling that of a rabbit or a bobcat. Due to the origin of these kitsusagi, they are easy to manipulate by the creators of their curse.
This species is common and can be easily obtained at the Mountain.
