So the other day I was fishing and fishing for the elusive sunfish to complete my collection and I caught it! Yay me!
So, instead of saving right away, like I should have, I decided to give Bluebear a birthday gift. But when I hand out the furniture my game freezes. gonk So frustrating. I later tried giving Bluebear a different gift and my game froze again. sad

Wow, that's kind of weird confused Never heard of that happening before.. Wonder if it's a problem with your game card or the DS itself..
Sunfish are easy to catch though aren't they. What season are you in :0

i read in an faq its a prob with a code, go to gamefaqs or something and there's a guide explaining it. hope this helps

Probably, it's your DS card. It can't be your DS or else it would freeze more.

It's happened to me before. I just decided to start playing with a new character and it didn't do it anymore, and after awhile I went back to my old character and I was able to give gifts again.
Every now and again I can't buy things from my catalog either-Nook will tell me it's full no matter what I do. I just have to wait until the next day and then it seems to work again-I've noticed that if I go to the town hall before I go to Nook's, it's more likely to glitch, so now I just don't go the town hall until I'm finished with everything else and that seems to work ok.

When a neighbor comes over to visit your house,
don't sit in a chair or lay on a bed!!

When I do this, my game doesn't freeze per se,
because there is still stuff moving on the screen,
but the buttons and stylus control doesn't work
and I'm stuck sitting on a sofa and can't move!
Aaaah!!

that has never happeedd to me before,but it has happened to my friends when they give someone a gift they had to make a new character I believe.
