Hm. Well, as a lot of you probably already know, there are at least two live action DN movies. I thought that was rather interesting since it's a bit difficult to turn an animation into live action.
I'm just wondering, if you could pick the cast, which actors and actresses would you choose to play different DN characters?
Personally, I would love to have Johnny Depp in it, somehow. He does play the crazy/cynical *coughKIRAcough* (Secret Window, anyone?) roles well...but he also does weird personas (>.> such as L), too. I mean, look at Edward Scissorhands or Sweeney Todd.
So, let's hear it!

I don't think Johnny Depp would work as Kira... But thats just me... emo But thats a better idea than I could come up with so I don't have much room to b***h... xd

Heh, in all honesty, I just really wanted Johnny to be associated with DN. But, it must be admitted, that Johnny does really well playing weird roles.
It's been pointed out that Zac Effron (spelling?) looks similar to Light. Maybe he should get that role mrgreen

He is a great actor, but he doesn't look much like a japanese person xD Maybe he could be Ray Penber? *gets shot in the head*
Let's see, if I were to choose characters for the movies, I'd probably kidnapp every single amazing DN cosplayer out there and force them into learning how to act.
