what music do you like? I listen to a lot of J-P. Anyone else? oh be nice, I'm new to the guild and this is my first topic. So if the title is wrong please correct me.

I actually don't listen to any Japanese style music as a whole. Maybe one or two songs that I like but right now I'm mostly focused on Daft Punk, which isn't Japanese razz

I like both, but listen mostly to J-Rock. I haven't put any effort into finding download-able J-pop yet.

"Nan no ongaku ga suki desu ka" is what you're trying to say.
I generally prefer dance and hip hop. The only bands I really listen to right now are Ketsumeishi and Monkey Majik.

I'm another that isn't really into J-Music. I mean I love the themesong to Chobits as much as the next girl but generally I stay towards the Beatles and whatnot.

I'm not too big on Japanese music, though there are couple of bands/singers I like and a random song here and there.
I like hip-hop, some kinds of rock, and mellow-y bands. My favorites are Red Hot Chili Peppers, Outkast and Belle & Sebastian.

for the right words...i was trying to figure out what 'ogaku' meant from the thread's title and it drove me nuts. i was all 'ogaku does not mean music' -shoots self-
*cough* on the other hand
I listen to some Jpop and Jrock. I really dont' know the difference between most of the genres of the bands i listen to.

I love japanese music, although so far all i really know are multiple songs that have been in anime, but i'll just have to look into it more, although I've never really been a big music person.

I really favor that song called Whats up people by the Maximum Hormone. I found their song off of a Death Note opening O_o

I listen to both/either when I can find them. I usually listen to anime music because I think it's easier to find, but I started listening to different artists on youtube, namely Amano Tsukiko. However, I don't really judge songs by what band sings/plays it, I judge songs by whether or not I like them, so I actually have alot of fave artists... sweatdrop
