So, I've been hearing a lot of bitching about Katara lately. Mainly over her treatment of Zuko in 312 and 313, but it extends beyond that to her general character.

SO. As a treat, I thought I'd share a rather funny and horribly accurate look at Katara, from the wonderful Booter-Freak.

If you dislike Katara, why?

I saw that! I nearly fell off my seat laughing.

I think that it's silly how angry people are at Katara.
As if they would be any more noble in her situation (well, the fangirls would if that meant they had a chance of sleeping with Zuko stare ).
Interestingly enough, whenever Katara is nice, it's "She's too perfect!" Then, when she has human moments, it's "She's such a b*tch! Poor Zuzu!"

Zuko had it coming.
Yeah, I said it.

BTW, the comic is made of epic win.

So epic win. *bows to booter-freak*

She might be overdoing it a taaaad little bit, but really, her reaction is still understandable. What's the saying? "Once bitten, twice shy"? Zuko effectively turned on her and the group once after he'd managed to dent that shell around her, so it shouldn't be expected for her to simply welcome him with open arms. Not even Aang did that, and he's the most laid back of the lot.

How do you find this stuff, Stephanie? xd

I must be old or something, but I didn't find that Booter-Freak comic very funny at all. I thought it was downright disgusting and rude.

I don't like Katara that much, but I really did dislike that comic :<. Katara isn't the only one out of Aangs' gang who is treating Zuko badly either anyways. Like Sokka's funny line, "Hey jerks, Can I watch you two jerks do jerk-bending?" I know it's just a joke; but Aang himself is giving Zuko a second chance, Sokka is like Katara a little for me where he is super weary of Zuko and laughs a little too nastily at him. I agree Katara is the worst (least favourite character, disregarding Mai (I dislike characters like that in general, I know she has a lot of personality, but I like characters like Ty Lee more.)) but there has been a lot of times, especially in season one where I really liked her. In season three too, I see how good she is at water bending too (especially when she beat the puppet master smile and bent the ocean water to escape the fire navy ship.).
Because of all that, I really dislike that comic and I don't think Katara is a "c**t" at all. She has her moments, she's a little too over protective I think is her problem. But without her Avatar wouldn't be Avatar smile , thus I like her in the end. Which is all that matters biggrin .
