Tenka has slept trough the night, not knowing that there was a storm in sight. As this was her home island. With the warm climate and all. She never really seen a storm. But heard about them, she saw rain, but never counted that as a 'storm' But she opened her eyes, seeing rain, thunder and lightning, which her name was after.. She yawned and peeked out her little cave, seeing if its to bad to go outside for some food.
The rain was heavier than she thought and sighed. Her head tilted to the side and bit and then began to fall over. The rain made her eyes heavy, even though she just woke up from her sleep. But she didn't eat for a while and needed food. Even though it was bad outside, she had to take a chance and find food sooner or later.
She looked behind her, seeing her bunny sleeping on top of her bag and remembered that she always carried food just in case. She hurried and took out a fish, have 2 more left and started to nibble on it, as she stared blankly out of the caves small entrance.

Bijou had come a long way from Shikoku. Well, not physically, the two islands were relatively close to each other. But the two had a different feel and each had a different landscape. Shikoku had been so peaceful, serene, and nearly covered in cherry blossoms. Honshu had forests all over it and many more people. Also, to Bijou's dispair, there wasn't a single pink colored blossom.
The flight didn't take very long and Bijou arrived safely. When she landed, the sky seemed to be getting darker and darker. This was followed by booming thunder, lightning, and rain. Bijou had never been in a storm before and was thrown off balance. She had no idea where to go to find shelter. With a sigh Bijou started to walk in the direction of some nearby caves.

"Has it stop raining yet?" Tenka mumbled to herself as her back was turned away from the opening of the cave. She yawned and got up. Walking slowly to the entrance and sighed. The rain has kept going, and was coming into the cave, which made her back up just a bit. She needed something to whip up all the water and looked at her legwarmers. Slowly shaking her head she walked to the back of the cave and sighed.
"Wait.." She started to think of something and looked outside of the cave. Seeing huge leaves, she quickly grabbed enough to cover her damped floor and laid them down slowly. "There! That should hold out til the storm is over.." She said, padding over to her bunny and yawned again. Wishing today was a beautiful, sunny day.

The rain continued to poor down and seemed to be getting harder each minute. Tiny droplets turned into coin sized pieces and grew larger. By this time Bijou was soaked, she would have been flying but her thin wings couldn't carry her when wet.
Caves nearby looked pretty tempting and would be a good way to get out of the storm. Bijou approached it slowly, unsure of what could be inside. For all she knew an oni could be living inside it right now. "H-hello...?" she called before peeking her head into the opening of the cave.

'I hear a voice.. Hopefully its not a Oni..' Her gray ears flickered and she slowly got up. Her bunny jumped across her leg as she stretched and looked from what stands behind her. Another Kuniku.. Just like her with wings.. Except hers was like a butterfly.. or a fairy.. Which made Tenka wonder how didn't she was from her..
She couldn't be to different though.. She can fly, talk, eat, sleep and whatever else like Tenka.. Right? She tilted her head at Bijou and walks up to her and smiles. "Hello.. Are you lost? Or did you come by to visit?" She paused and her smile turned to a grin. "Oooo! This is so exciting! I never had a visitor before.. And you are soaking wet! Here put on this blanket.." She said, laying a golden striped blanket on her back and she sat down in front of Bijou.. This was really interesting to find another Kuniku like her.

Bijou was pleasantly surprised to a Kuniku, and quite a friendly one at that! The rain had taken its toll on the pink kuniku, Bijou was soaked to the bone. From her fluffy ears to the tip of her striped tail; no part had escaped the rain. She was certainly glad to be out of the rain and in the safety of the cave.
"I just came over from Shikoku," Bijou answered, "I didn't know where to go, then it started storming!" A smile formed across Bijou's face. The blanket around her was warm and she was glad to have found another Kuniku. With her luck, Bijou was afraid that she would run into an Oni.
Feeling more relaxed, Bijou was finally able to look the other Kuniku over. Like herself, she had wings. But her wings were different, more like the wings of a bird. Bijou didn't doubt that they were better than her own fragile butterfly wings.
