NOTE!
This PRP is a direct pull off from the PRP "To Touch is to Truly Feel", which can be found here.
So much was running through Sionce's mind that night as he stared at his feet, his eyes never really focusing on the pavement although that is where they seemed to be set. Each leg took a shaky step forward, almost like they'd never done the motion before and were being tested each and every time his foot swung out and down, and Sionce's small frame swayed back and forth to an irregular time.

Trisste. Li'tae. My mask, my secret. Fiach, my secret.

The same five thoughts ran rampant through his mind, playing out like an endless waltz that never changed its tempo or rhythm. They danced together like masked partners spinning about a floor that seemed to sway just as much as he did, and behind their masks each wore an expression of pain and sorrow to match their weariness from the dance that wouldn't end.

He didn't even notice the presence of one of the objects of his thoughts behind his frame, their gentle hands steering him around people and objects as they guided his way. Normally such an action would have sent him into a fit, not one of anger at being manhandled as he'd like it to be, but one of deep embarrassment at being touched and lead like a small child who was incapable of walking to an area on their own.

Trisste, Li'tae, my mask, my secret. Fi-

"Fiach, my secret."

The words were spoken aloud though it came out more towards the cement, and not once did the youth even raise his head at the sudden outburst on his lips. It could be said that he was still too stunned to think straight, still too snapped from the events of before.

A permanent glower had affixed itself to Fiach's normally stoic face as he gently guided Sionce to the man's house. He felt awkward at having to lead this man so carefully when just minutes before he'd been left wondering what had happened to the strong Sionce he had come to know and cherish. Watching that mask crumble had seemed to crumble his companion, and the fear and worry at what had his friend so broken left Fiach gnawing at his lower lip.

What had happened between Trisste and Sionce in just those few seconds that lead this rock in his life to begin to crumble and wash away in the currents of the river?

Turning his look of anger on any who dared open their mouths to question, Fiach hoped they might make it to Sionce's house before there was any incident. Or, at least before Sionce broke into tears, the memory of what had happened after the Emile fiasco fresh on his mind, and tearing at him every slow, painful step of the way. Finally arriving at the path that lead directly up to Sionce's house, Fiach's attention was slowly caught as he heard his friend mutter something. Sure that Sionce had not meant to speak them aloud, Fiach gently squeezed his friend's shoulders, before gently whispering, "You don't have to talk about it until we get to your place."

It was his way of trying to say, 'I know that something is bothering you, but please don't cry out here.' He just didn't have the guts to beg his friend not to cry. Not after the last time Sionce had cried. Delicately ushering his friend towards his house, Fiach fervently prayed that Sionce would make it to...and through...that door. He didn't mind so much if he broke down once inside there, Fiach just...couldn't handle having Sionce freak out in the middle of the street again. He was afraid people might think he was doing something wrong to his friend, and those questions were things that would prove difficult to explain away.

Now Fiach just had to find a way to ensure Sionce understood he wouldn't stop being his friend simply because he had a relationship with a hacker droid...

It was probably in Sionce's best interest to stay silent until they reached his house and for a stroke of luck and gift he actually did, only muttering a few things here and there as silent tears threatened the corners of his eyes. Threatened, but never actually fell much to the young man's relief and small bit of dignity that he still clung to.

"Ah, Fiach, I..."

His words were a bit muffled as they tried to cross slightly pursed lips, and he frowned inwardly at himself for trying hard to make a point or a sentence when he knew anything and everything he said was going to be a jumble of emotions mixed with syllables. It didn't matter if he felt like he was thinking clearly as all that mattered would be how he would actually be able to communicate from this point on with the figure who was carefully leading him from point A to point B.

Sionce by now of course, had come to realize that Fiach was indeed behind him and guiding him back to his home that he had only left perhaps a half-hour or so before, but he found it odd that he made no effort even at this point to express any sort of emotion - neither gratitude, fear, anger, or embarrassment. Instead he simply let his feet do the moving, his head still down with his gaze etching lines into the cement with how intent his stare was.

They were close to his home, perhaps only a few minutes or steps away, but he remained silent and tried to keep what thoughts he had in order as parts of the evening kept replaying in his head...

Though Fiach was trying very hard to appear as if he was merely leading a friend in need home, he found it growing more and more difficult with each passing moment to not stop Sionce right then and there to ask just what on Earth he was mumbling about. The constant, nearly incoherent mutterings were nearly enough to set the already on edge Fiach over the edge. Things were too stressful for him all of a sudden, things seemed to be getting too close to be emotional for him to handle and his mind was still reeling from what had appeared to be Li'tae and Trisste. In human form. That thought alone was enough to make him shudder in the cool air of the evening.

As Sionce again muttered something, Fiach cocked his head to one side as he thought he heard his name being said. He hadn't quite caught the words as they seemed to have been whispered to the wind more than to himself, and so he let it slip from his mind - though even Fiach had to admit he was growing curious as to just what had his friend so crushed.

With a small sigh of relief, Fiach realized they had finally approached Sionce's house, and he gently lead Sionce up the path to the door, pausing before it as he waited for his friend to unlock, and then open, the door for them to get in. He whispered in his lilting voice, "You're home, Sionce, you'll be all right." before stepping just a little off to the side, still unsure of just what was going to happen - and more than a little scared for not knowing.
