 Kagutsuchi was very excited when his new babies were born and he was even more delighted to see that he now had to very beautiful sons. He watched as his two eldest daughters looked them over with distaste but he knew they would come around. He lay with his beautiful mate and family and licked her face gently. He smiled curiously at the brilliantly colored one and wondered what that meant. It make him feel a little nauseated looking at the colors, because it reminded him of the colors of a poisonous flower he'd once accidentally licked. It'd made him sick for hours. He hoped the colors of his boy had nothing to do with warning like the flower had. "Mmmm.. love what do you make of his markings and colors?" He nuzzled into Thrud lightly while looking at his eldest boy.

 Minoru searched through the woods for the spot where his daughter Rowan had told him he could find Thrud and her mate Kagu. From what Rowan told him his daughter was close to giving birth and he wanted to be there for her this time since he had missed the last births. At first he had not gone to check up on her because he had been dealing with Guava’s latest attempt to fly and then he had gotten lost looking for where Rowan had told him to go. He only hoped he would be able to get there in time. He thought he heard the sound of two dragonflies talking quietly ahead of him and then the wind shifted and he caught the scent of his daughter. “Finally I’ve found them.” He told himself, proud that he had only been lost for a week. Last time he had tried to find something he had been lost for a month. He stepped through the bushes and quickly took in the scene before him. He was disappointed to find that he had missed the birth of the new pups that were snuggled next to their parents but was happy to see they looked healthy. “Hello.” He said awkwardly unsure of how to address the new parents.

Thrud smiled happily as she looked at her father. "Papa!!" she said with a smile wishing she could get up and nuzzle him. But the pups were asleep next to her and she didn't want to wake them. "You found us this time. Girls," she said to Skuld and Sol. "This is your grandfather Minoru." She said to them with a smile. She saw their slightly unhappy faces and knew she would talk to them about this later and see what was wrong. Maybe she wasn't spending enough time with them. She sighed and hoped she could take a break from her woods for a while to be with the pups and her daughters. She should work with them on their domains so they knew how to use them if they could. "Hows Rowan? Well hows yourself doing?" she asked her father having not seen him for quite a while."

Kagu was delighted to see his father-in-law and gently stood to great him. He spoke gently and gave him a gentle family nuzzle against him neck, to show he was happy he'd shown up. He watched happily as his little family reunion took place, but didn't have much else to say.
Sol was rolling her eyes and sighing as she watched everyone chatting it up and talking about how wonderful everything was. What about her? She was so big and strong now! She had so many things she wanted to show her grandfather, but she knew he was only here for the baaabies. 'Blegh' She thought to herself and rested her head on her paws.
Ashe smiled dreamily up at her mother and licked at her side, getting fur in her mouth and feeling confused. Everything was so bright and so loud. She wrinkled her nose and started loudly whimpering.

Minoru smiled when Thrud greeted him, he was glad that she wasn’t mad that he hadn’t gone to see her for awhile. He gave Kagu a nuzzle back and then patted him on the back with his paw. “Thrud hasn’t been giving you too much trouble I hope?” He said with a large grin. He stepped forward and peered done at the three new pups. They were so cute and they looked so much like their parents! He beamed with pride. Being a grandpa made him feel kind of old but he was glad that there were more little ones. “Rowan’s doing fine. She wandered off a couple of weeks ago, she’s been doing that a lot. Sometimes I wonder where she goes off to, mostly visiting friends I think. She was doing fine last time I saw her. And I’m doing great, especially now that I found my way here. I’ll have to remember this spot so I don’t get lost next time. But how are you doing? You have that new mom look, it’s good on you. You’ve grown, well, bigger. I was wondering if you were an elder too now. Your sister is constantly changing into her elf form and going on about how she wants to show Drachus that she’s and elder too.” When Ashe started whimpering he smiled over at his two older granddaughters deciding to give Thrud a little Privacy. “And how are my two coolest granddaughters?” He asked. They had grown so much since he had last seen them and he was glad that he had gotten a chance to come visit before they got too old to care. Ashe’s whimpering woke up Aedan. He opened his eyes slowly not wanting to let in the bright daylight and looked around curious about his surroundings and more importantly curious about what was making the noise. Soon he started to whimper himself.

Thrud was glad that Kagu and Minoru got along well. Two of the most important people to her. She didn't know what she would do if they didn't like each other. She glanced at the girls and wondered if they were really happy about them having more siblings. She looked down as Ashe whimpered. She nuzzled her and licked her head softly. "Shhhh." she said softly before turning to Aedan and licking him as well. Ancistro rolled over onto his back and wiggled his feet in the air in his sleep and Thrud suppressed a laugh so she didn't wake him as well. She watched the other two as they looked around and let Kagu and Minoru talk.
Skuld looked at her grandfather and rolled her eyes. coolest granddaughters He sounded so much like a grandfather it wasn't funny. "We're doing ok grandpa. We like to wander into he woods and look around alot so theres not much to say." she said halfheartedly. She looked at Sol and saw her watching the new pups and was sure she knew what she was thinking. She didn't like the pups either. She sighed and crossed one paw over the other and rested her head on it and just starred at the pups wondering how much worse this was going to make her relationship, or lack there of with, her mother.

(About a year later. So that the pups would be all grown like they are. Ancistro is the only one whos stuck by her often. Shes mostly been alone though.)

((mkies! I think Kagu has been off on his own, and ashe and sol noir have stuck together. Its sad that Aedan is kind of lost to us. Ancistro is so pretty now. I loffles him.))
One year later after that happy family reunion a lot had happened. The pups had grown and had started lives of their own and Kagu had retreated to woods for training, and solitude.
Kagu trotted through the underbrush quietly keeping to himself, dodging a lizard under his paw, when he suddenly stopped dead in his tracks and closed his eyes. He sniffed the air, his muzzle snapping shut around the knife in his snout. His head darted to his left and he started following the scent surprised to find it in this area.
Sol noir and Ashe had been running together. Sol the older sister figure had thought Ashe everything, including her wild and mischievous attitude,something that seemed to be in their blood. The two were far from Kagu however so they couldnt be the scent he was smelling.
Sol looked to Ashe who was munching on a small bird she'd captured. Pulling the feathers off at the moment Sol had observed her. "Soooo since your going to take forever with that.... I'm going to go lay in the sun on those nice flat rocks by that small pool of water over there..."
Ashe didn't bother looking up she just nodded and scratched at her collar.

Thrud sat up on a hill in the middle of the territory she had claimed for her self and Kagu...where ever he was...She was sad that he had gone off with out telling her where he was so that sh could see him when she wanted company. Most of the children seemed to want to be alone...something they must have gotten from her. Ancistro was by her side alot. She would walk through the forests with her and she would tell him about the plant life and how to use them. She loved her children and was very glad that one of them stuck by her. Skuld hadn't been seen by anyone in a long time. Thrud thought that she might be trying to learn how to be an elder. She was so power hungry. She looked into the trees far below her and wondered where the other children were.
(Ancistro is going to sit this out for now. ^__^ )

Kagu's muscles rippled, he had gotten a little bulkier from his training over the past year. His big paws dug deeper into the dirt as he sprang out of the trees and to the bottom of the hill. His flames fluttered in the wind rushing by and his big deadly tail spun slowly behind him. Hot breathe came out of his mouth swirling around his muzzle knife. He panted only slightly, his breathing extremely regular. He darted towards the scent and suddenly there she was. His Thrud was in sight. He leaped from his spot towards her and landed near her. He skidded to a stop and pushed some of the dirt up from it's spot. His eyes met hers and it was like the first time they met all over again. He could almost feel her disapproving emotions.

Thrud could feel something coming as she sat there brooding over being alone and wondered what it was. She turned to see Kagu running at her. She looked at him with her eyebrow raised feeling upset with him. She turned away with a huff. "What do you want?" she asked hoping hed cuddle her if she made him think she was mad. She sat up straighter trying to look like she was mad, though she actually had missed him alot and wanted him to hold her tightly and she really missed him calling her cute names. She looked at him out of the corner of her eye as she shifted her feet together and curled her tail around her feet.

He trotted over to her a little slower once he saw her reaction to him. "I... I want you... It's been a while... and I wanted to be with you again. I've been searching you out ever since I completed my training..." He huffed a little in between his words, quickly catching his breath. He got a little closer, his warm breath on her neck, his voice lowering slightly. "You mean... you didn't miss me at all, love? You didn't miss your mate? Your love... your one... and only... or has that changed?' He backed up a little thinking that she may have found a new mate while she was away. His heart sunk a little.

Thrud glanced at him as he talked and wiggled her toes in the dirt thinking. As he got more and more upset she turned towards him. "no i haven't moved on. I've missed you so much darling." she said not being able to stay mad at him any more. She turned into her elder form and pulled him closer and snuggled him against her body. Her arms around him as she snuggled his neck, taking in his warm smell as she stroked his fur and hummed softly. "I'm sorry my love i was just upset cause i didn't know if you would be coming back. And i just missed you so much." she said softly as she kissed his forhead.
