Brothers and sisters, I'd like to share with you a small epiphany I had while I was out on the hunt for a game I've been wanting for awhile(Dead or Alive 4, in case anyone's curious). I called a Gamestop to check if they had it and they told me they did, prompting me to take the 3 mile bike trek over there to claim it. When I finally had arrived, they told me they did not have it and I was just a wee bit miffed, so I tried the nearby Best Buy, who only had the spinoff Dead or Alive Extreme 2(an Unchrist-like game if I ever saw one).

As I left the store, my irritation had began to seep deeper and deeper into my being, but I stopped for a moment, and considered everything that was around. The wind in my face, the sun setting over the horizon, the very fact I was taking in all this and exploring this land on my bike all came to, and in that moment I came to realize just how much we had, and how much more we can have, if you do not let petty material things dictate our emotions.

I left that place with a lighter heart, and the chance to deeper explore this world, while still in search of the game(which I luckily found used at a nearby game store in my local mall later that night).

Wow Man of Christ and I were just talking about videogames and movies that were unChristlike.

Thanks for sharing that. God does have a way to show us our hearts so that we can desire his more effectively.

I agree. A lot of the time these irritations take our eyes off the small blessings that happen everyday.
