Ok, not technically RS, however... Air almost died/went into a coma today. If anything happens to Air, you know that will cause the immediate implosion of the game, right? Exactly.

So, at work Steve had Tyrone and Sareun in St. Kitts. It was a new trailer and was therefore backed up. Steve asked me to go in and scan while they loaded. That way we can focus on heavier trailers.

I go into the trailer, all the flaps that make up the floor on the left were down, like they should be. Tyrone was in the right side where the flaps were up. He was in the "basement". It's this extra area in a drop frame trailer that reaches down to about the axles of the wheels. So there's wheel wells visible at the back of the trailer. While the front wheels, it doesn't matter as the basement ends well before that. Oh, and there's 5 flaps on each side of the rollers that carry the packages into the trailer. Anyways. Sareun was on the left where I came in. I grabbed the scanner from him and started scanning.

Now, they had just opened the chute, so the stuff I needed to scan was at the back of the trailer, where I just entered. However, they were going to move down the trailer, and I knew this. I always just follow the packages down and scan as fast to keep ahead of the loaders. Now, before anything started moving, I scanned maybe two packages, and then there was this bag that was taking a while to scan. As I was trying to, the packages started to move.

So I started to walk backwards. Note, this all took places within seconds of getting the scanner from Sareun.

The first step back... Well, it was quite a step. Turns out, right after I got the scanner, Sareun went ahead and opened the flap behind me. He wanted to start loading that side of the trailer. As opposed to loading the stuff that reached the back... AKA the front of the trailer...

Now, remember that wheel well? Well on some trailers it sticks out further back from the first flap, while others, it stops at basically the same point. Luckily it was of the former. My left foot, which I took the step with stepped on the well. I think I must have pushed back a bit against it and landed on the steel floor below on my a**. This drop it just under 5 feet, mind you. Maybe closer to 4 and a half... It depends on the trailer, really. I'm 5'3" so yea... I basically fell my height to a metallic floor.

Now here's the thing. Did I get hurt in the least? Nope! Sareun must have been opening that thing just as I stepped back, but I didn't hit it on the way down. Oh, and at least I'm not tall. If I were, I'd have hit the back of my head against the next flap. That would have been bad. gonk

I get up, and you know what. We were all laughing so hard about it. Sure they asked me if I was ok, and I was. I was actually hurting from laughing so much.

They both thought that a package had fallen when they heard me hit the ground. And Tyrone kept saying what he was thinking when he looked up at the sound. "Yo, where the ******** is Amber? She disappeared!".

Oh, and you just know I'm gonna keep pestering Sareun for this. I keep asking if he has anymore traps set for me. Thing is, we'd always joke about hitting eachother with packages and stuff. So it's great. Now he has a failed attempt at murder under his belt.

Oh, he's denying it... I'm like suuuuuuuure... Funny, a while later as I was typing in these tracking codes to like 40 packages that wouldn't scan for Sauga... [Haha, video games are useful, you see! I am able to type in those codes fast because of video games. domokun ] ...Well Sareun was walking by, backwards as he threw a small package up to catch. He ran into me and stuff. So I joked, "See, you are trying to kill me!" rofl

But honestly... I don't know how I managed to not get hurt from that fall. Not even in the slightest. Obviously I'm better than gravity. Perhaps I should go jump off a cliff and see if I can fly?

I'm incapable of getting seriously injured... Yet. Sure that may be a good thing, but kinda feels like a bad thing too.

Holy s**t... I just realised it's 4:25AM. I gotta stop watching Reboot on YouTube... I lose track of time.

Oh, and why is it that when my throat's sore, I go to the kitchen knowing I left a Ginger Ale in the fridge, only to find it gone? Why can't my sister put a new one in? Now I'm stuck with odd tasting ice cubes...

Side note: When I told my mom what happened. I got to the part where Tyrone said "Yo, where the ******** is Amber?" and I went into a huge laughing fit. Crashed into the hallways of the building trying to walk, and attempted to continue the story only to be talking out of breath. My mom was just looking at me as though I were insane. I'm not disputing that point.

I should probably go to bed. Although, I'm not tired anymore. Water woke me up. O_o

Maybe I'll go watch more Reboot or something...

The fall on Thursday totally made the week worth it after what that a*****e Mark said to me on Wednesday.

Time to add onto the "Trying to Kill Air" list.

Today in Barrie, Tyrone and I were finishing off the trailer. I was backed up because I was helping out Brampton. We cleared it up as the trailer was hooked up. There was a few small packages jammed on the chute, but Tyrone broke it so that we could load them since there was room. Then out of no where a s**t load of packages came, as well as Mark throwing a few big ones on the chute. You'd think he'd wait for us to close the chute or something?

Steve showed up, Tyrone was asking someone to close the chute so that we could seal it. I was busy scanning the packages and helping to load them. As I was scanning a package, I noticed the chute pulling away. I had thought that Steve was closing it. However, I thought it odd because I didn't see him where he should have been to be able to move it with all that stuff on it. Especially Barrie's chute, since it's hard enough to move that thing when it's clear.

I looked up then realized that it wasn't the chute that had moved. It was the trailer. ******** driver started pulling away with Tyrone and I still in the trailer. rofl Packages started falling out of the chute, but only one ended up outside, as I had pulled any others out. Only in Barrie would s**t like this happen. ONLY IN BARRIE!

I was actually gonna joke to Tyrone, but never had a chance. I was gonna say: Hey, imagine if the trailer pulling away and that trap Saroen had set for me merged. It'll be like... Trailer pulls away... You saying, "Yo, where the ******** is Amber?!"... Trailer pulls back in... CRUNCH!... You then saying "Oh! There she is... Er... Ohhh...". xd Yea, I told that to my mom, she wasn't amused. domokun
