I'll try to keep this short.

So, as you may know, there's this kid at work named Mark. He's a total d**k. Mostly he's annoying... But he also tends to ******** up a lot. Such as loading a lot of missorts, and throwing packages.

This whole week I was stuck scanning for Stoney Creek while he loaded. Monday was the day from ******** Hell. 90%, at least, of the stuff going there were these bulky packages going to one place. They were all recalls. Because of them, one trailer only took an hour to fill as opposed to the hour and a half to two hours it normally takes. We went through five trailers that day, when normally we are meant to only get three. But I digress. Needless to say, working with Mark isn't fun at all. The worst of it is how he states the obvious. Or he tells me to do something AS I'M ******** DOING IT!

Wait, I'm not even getting to the point here...

Ok, so today, Mark was being his normal annoying self. The scanner I had kept dying for no reason. There were two packages I had put aside because I wasn't sure they belonged to that trailer. I couldn't check the list at the trailer because it's horribly outdated, so I was waiting for a chance to ask Steve for the updated list to double check.

So, my scanner dies, I take it to Steve. While waiting for it to start working, I mention the two packages. He asks if they're big/heavy, if not to bring them to him to check. I told him they were, however Mark had been an idiot and dropped one of them and kinda busted it open, so I couldn't bring it. [Don't ask me why Mark even touched it, it wasn't in anybody's way. I left it in the trailer as it was kinda heavy, and there was no reason to move it as of yet.] Scanner starts working, and I guess Steve had a lil chat with Mark about throwing packages. As per usual... He does this way too often, it's ******** idiotic.

Mark comes back to the trailer and you know what he said to me? "b***h.". I ask him "What?", and he replies, "Oh you know.", or something like that. I'm pretty sure he's pissed because of "ratting" him out... But honestly, that wasn't even why I said it, I'm not out to get him in trouble. It's the fact that he made more work for me, like usual. I'd be left to tape that thing up and s**t. Anyways... Mark's an a**, he calls me names and s**t often, however this time he crossed that lil line.

You see, the way I work... If someone's an idiot I won't tattle on them. No point, I'll deal with them how I see fit. In Mark's case, it's just putting up with him. I mean, if I ratted on him for everytime, you just know he'd just do it more and more. However, there's this line. When you push me too far, something might happen. Oh, like get me upset.

I told him, "Fine, you don't want me here, I'll leave." At that time, I could feel as though I was gonna cry. I really didn't want to make a scene or anything, so I tried holding it back. I went to Steve to tell him that I didn't want to work in the same trailer as Mark for what he said, but the waterworks came.

Honestly, Marks just lucky he didn't get me in a fighting mode like that ******** a*****e at school who pestered me since grade 6. I ended up showing him in grade 9. Although I do have control over that. All that kid believed in was fighting, so I answered in a language he'd understand. He got the message loud and clear. I knew better than to fight a co-worker. I mean, I'm not a ******** idiot. No, not like Mark.

Anyways... Appearently Mark told Steve that he was sorry and stuff. Although, I know Mark. He says "Sorry" whenever he's caught for dropping a package. So I didn't really believe it, and I won't believe it until he decides to step up and apologize to my face. He actually had many chances to tonight, but he didn't. I don't care that much though.

Now I had mentioned to Steve that Mark does s**t like this often. He asked why I never told him about it. But like I said, that'd just get Mark more pissed off. In fact, Steve knows this as he said to me that he could punish Mark for this, suspend him, but that'd just have him blaming me. I totally understand that. Hell, if Steve suggested that he was thinking of suspending him over this, I'd have asked him not to. Just because I'm a nice person. Oh, and Steve was even saying that I should just call him an a** when he says stupid things like that. I have been, Mark just doesn't listen.

At one point, the two guys working on the floor were at the missort cart. Tyrone noticed that I was crying and asked if I was ok. Then Fuad came and asked what happened. I told him, he then said to Tyrone that Mark called me a b***h. The both then started yelling to Mark, "Mark, you're a f**!", "Why are you calling her a b***h?", and so on. They aren't that happy with Mark in the first place, they know he's an a**. They cheered me up. heart

Steve asked me if I wanted to continue scanning for Mark, I said no. He then asked if I would rather scan and load Barrie, or just scan Stoney Creek while Prem, who was in Barrie, loads... Mark being placed in Barrie. Steve didn't want me actually doing tons of work, he rather me just scan. Not that he doesn't think I'm any good at loading. Hell, he's said many times that I do a better job at it than a lot of others who work there. Thing is, I wanted to go in Barrie. One: I know everything that goes there for sure. The list is actually updated. Stoney Creek is full of mistakes, and s**t like Dell... That's another story, just know that it's annoying. Two: I wanted to do more than scanning. At least it'll help me not think of that BS with Mark.

Oh, but I did like the way Fuad put it. He said it would be better it I scanned while Prem loaded. Otherwise Stoney Creek would have two lazy people in it. rofl

Another thing was at break. Now, I remember months back Steve had mentioned that his bosses wanted him to, at some nonspecified point in the future, to pick two senior workers in out PD to be transfered to PD4, because they need help and s**t. Well, at break, I could hear Steve bringing that subject up again. He was talking to Mark and said "Don't make yourself one of them.".

Personally, if they were to take two of ours, I wouldn't care much if they took Mark. The other... Well, Prem. He isn't annoying, but he isn't so helpful... Like Mark, he needs to be told to help you, instead of actually attempting to do so himself. If it weren't limited to the more senior people... Then I wouldn't mind too much if Kirk went. He tends to be lazy and then pins it on you. I mean, he's twice my size, yet he wants me to load for him. He wants to scan... Yet he doesn't even look at the labels. Riiiiiiiiight... rolleyes

Hmm, only 1249 words. Yup, I kept that nice and concise.

Moral of the story... "Acting like a d**k? You'll be treated like an a**. Watch your back."
