I think it's nice ^-^ Better than I could have done anyway.
And I tend to think this pairing could be canon. Not because the Doctor's particularly interested (that we've seen...though there was the smoldering-stare bit in the new season three...) but because really any pairing with Jack in it has a possibility to become canon.
