Alright, so one or two episodes after the invasion have ( apparently ) aired in Canada or something, but not in America, right? So when are they airing in America?
I think it's kind of unfair that they haven't aired in America, since, isn't that where they originate? Correct me if I'm wrong. I know we have a lot of Canadian fans, but shouldn't they air at the same time? Or America first? Please don't hate me because of this, but it's very unfair for Canda, of all places, to see it before Americans. I'm extremely outraged.
So, because I don't want to download it online, because I consider that less entertaining than watching it on TV, and I think that it's at least partially illegal, I'm not able to watch it.
I don't want websites where I can watch it. I just want a date, when the new episodes are airing in America. If they've already aired in America, I apologize, but I was unaware that they were shown, and I'm pretty certain that they haven't. Thanks for help, even though I probably won't get any.
So, discuss:
Is it fair that Canadians sees it before Americans? ( please don't be biased because you live in Canda, although saying this won't mean anything, I'm sure ) Is it fair that Americans have to see it so much later than Americans? When is it going to air in America? Why is it airing in Canada before any other country?

All the hype and excitement are worth the wait. ( though right now they're kinda pushing it) 2. I also agree that its unfair that any country gets an advantage to another. I guess because its not like, gossip girl or something, they think its less important to have same-day airs. To answer your questions, no one knows exactly when its airing in the US but we're hoping soon. If we take the prcedent times the episodes were realeased after a hiatus in relationship to the release dates of the 3rd DVD of the season, then we're well behind where we should be in terms of new episodes. Canada is more on time than we are.

I actually don't mind it be it aired earlier in some other country before ours, but it is a wrong nonetheless, but you do have to remember that we sometimes get to see movies before it's released in where they were made, an example is Harry Potter, my friend was complaining about it just the other day saying that we (as in America and I) will get to see it before they do, and the movie was made over in England so, it was pretty messed up.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that, life is pretty much unfair and shows and movies will be released earlier in places that shouldn't. ;/
But I don't really enjoy watching avatar on my t.v for very simply reasons:
1. My parents (both mother and father) enjoys their soap opera show so much that they put it to the loudest they can get so they can hear everything and the sound vibrates through the thin apartment walls so that ruins my show.
2. My niece will come in and out of the room and cry if you don't give her attention, or she'll play around you with her annoying toys that make annoying music or sound.

This could be just my inherent hatred of Canada talking, ******** Canada. For serious. I don't even know what it is exactly about Canada that I hate, it's just some kind of boiling hatred that makes me crazy whenever I hear the word "Canada" said with a funny accent.

okay, this is my opinion, so please don't get angry at me for it
I think Americans need to stop whining about it. New episodes are being shown in Canada because YTV isn't as stupid as Nick. Nick could be showing the episodes, but they don't have the brains to realize that they aren't making any friends within the Avatar fandom. I very much doubt that YTV though, "Yay, Nick isn't showing these episodes, we can show them before the Americans do!" They're simply seeing that they can get good ratings and so are showing the episodes.
Coming from an Australian who generally doesn't get new episodes until months after they air in America, seriously, just be patient. If you don't want to watch them online then that's your choice, but don't whine about not seeing them when others have. I don't think many Americans really appreciate how good they have it when it comes to getting new episodes, here in Australia they haven't even shown all of season 2 yet. So really, if you're not getting everything straight away, then just deal with it, the rest of the world does.
I seriously don't see why Canada shouldn't be seeing new episodes, you're in the same continent! Your countries aren't really that different, there is no giant difference between Canadians and Americans which makes Canadians less worthy. So someone else is getting it first, I'm sure you'll cope, you're not children fighting over toys.
Sorry for ranting, I just get really annoyed about people who whine about these things, I've had my fair share of waiting for tv shows and movies and I really don't see why America should get everything first, Canadians are just the same as Americans and so are Australians, so why should we have to wait?

I'm not sure why Canada is airing it first. I guess Avatar has a licensing agreement with them, too. I don't mind waiting (I haven't seen them yet) since I'm excited to see a new episode on our huge television, but I was looking forward to a new episode at the start of the New Year. Now, they are promoting Zoey 101 and new shows that I don't really care too much about. I hope Nick comes to it's senses soon and show those new episodes!!! >_<

I'm just wondering now if its the TV stations or the larger companies that make the desisions (like nick compared to viacom) or maybe even the creators, though i'm pretty sure if they had their way it be on every night.

I agree with heartedly. One of the best times I have had at a anime con was at AWA when the first ep of sesion three came on and I had a room full of Avatareds loveing(and they all showed up last min xd )
I'm rather up set that Canada, and The UK got it befor us, I dont under stand as to why? I mean thats like the US geting the last Harry Potter Book befor the UK(Well maybe not THAT big but you know). I understand that theres no need to whin, but this was made in the US(the company that produces it, so dont bother geting tecknical), they made it, you dont see the US geting eps of Bleach befor the Japanese, or for a better reffrence to the UK, Where not geting EPs of Doctor Who befor them are we? NO!
I dont know why Viacom has such a strong hold on the avatar in the US,I mean comeon, they own everything! (please for give spelling as usareal)

I'm just glad I'm not going insane. Here I was, panicking about these new episodes coming out when my tv guide didn't say a word about them. I'm a USA brat, so I'll just zip over to Youtube if I go too nuts. whee

Alright, I'm just glad that I'm not missing them. xD And it's ridiculous how much earlier they get them. Like Kakashi, said: if we are the country that makes it, we should see it first. Same goes for everything else. That's the only reason it ticks me.
I'm sorry I was whining, but I think it's a bit ridiculous. And I'm glad no one killed me and so many people gave their opinion. =D

I get a little pissed off when it's aired in other countries before the U.S. It's an American 'anime'. (Real) Anime is aired in Japan before it's aired here (I know they have to change the language, W/E ). I can't do any thing about it so I guess I might as well not b***h.

I'll watch it when it airs on tv, despite the fact I watch it online. Just to keep ratings up. But yea, only reason I watch it online first is because it seems like Nick has more important programs to show in the US, like Spongebob and Zoey101. stressed Not everyone has the patience to wait a month or two for a new show.

It's not Canada's fault that they like Avatar. I'm American and I'd give any thing to move to a country like that with free healthcare, etc. I really don't understand why the entire freaking nation hates countries that are better or worse than us. If anything, the us nick probably sees it as more of a profit it they postpone showings, because they're stupid and they forgot about the internet. That's the way they do things in the US for tv right now.. It's more profitable to keep people waiting. Plus, Nick is screwed when ratings go down after the avatar is finally over. Since it is anime from America, if anything, be thankfull we don't have to wait for them to make subs. That's kind of a plus.

Pretty sure they're on strike. Not sure though, cause that was in December. And just so you know, they're protesting the company that owns Nick, Viacom (which also owns Mtv and Vh1), not Nickelodeon itself. That guy just wanted to be clever. :3
