I have an interesting question.
Is it normal to be able to go for it (ahem) more than once a day?
And, what is the normal 'recharge' time span?
I've been married 8 months, and I hear stories other people tell, and it just doesn't seem possible.. And of course, being a woman, I don't know exactly how things work for men..

It's possible do a little dance, make a little love and get down tonight more than once a day, every day; but in my experience, it just isn't as good.
If it's because you genuinely want each other that much, fair enough- but just having sex out of habit every day just makes you get into a routine and it becomes boring and less fun.
I find it's best to with-hold it for a few days every now and then, until he's positively gagging for it, then have sex.
As for the "recharge" time, I think it varies according to the guy and the situation you're in. My husband can sometimes (but not always) go again just a few minutes after, but I have a friend whose fiance doesn't like to have sex more than once a day.

I think its ok when your b/f-g/f or even newlyweds, or havent seen each other in a few months weeks so on
But once married you should go with out a few days cause like what Tute Sweet said you might get bored

When me or my husband comes home from a deployment, we barely bother getting dressed for days on end unless we want to go out and eat or something >.< We will spend most of our time in the bedroom for the first few months but after that we usually get to a happy medium of about twice to three times a week.
It can get raw sometimes if you're not careful and eventually it takes forever to get off. At first it's like a 1/2 hour interval for us but like I said, that's after a whole year of no nookie. At our norm, we really don't do it more than once a day.

I don't know.. I was just curious because I heard this story from a friend, they managed 9 times in one night.. Didn't know if that was somewhat normal.. Cause we can go once, and hubby's out..

My hubby is the same way--once and he's off into his pleasure coma, likely to be sedated for a few hours. If things were left up to him in the bedroom we'd probably only do the horizontal tango once a week or so. . .my libido is much higher so I don't let him get away with that. There have been times when I've persuaded him to twice in a single day and I vaguely remember a day when I talked him into three times in 24-hour time span but. . .generally. . .he definitely can't handle more than once a day. We're trying to conceive though so as soon as I get off the rag he's mine every 48 hours and he knows it (and I'm excited about it)! smile

Once a day? I have no problem with having the same flavored ice cream for the rest of my life, but it seems like every time I get a craving the refrigerator has a headache.
Just kidding around: As far as the question goes, I think it has a lot to do with routine. For instance, if my wife acted a little dirtier than usual or put on a special sexy costume, I could go a few times... but like thirty minutes apart at least. That's minimum, not including re hydrating to replace body fluids.(I meant sweat, what were you thinking!? O-o)

i understand about the boring thing. i will force myself not to do it with David for as long as i can take, plus he likes to tease me. sweatdrop
its what i did the last time i got to see him. he wanted to but i made him wait.
but how many times? we can do it about 4 times in a day. and thats just when we have time alone. (thats why i make him wait now. dont want to let it get boring sad )

We usually only play about once every other day sometimes less, sometimes more -- the best turn around we had well...wasn't much of a "turn around" period .. we literally did a u-turn (in other words he didn't take a break O.o -- Yup. he "finished" but didn't "leave" and we just rocked a bit and he was ready to go again ... like really go!)
This was a particularly dirty night though -- so I think he knew it was special.
I was raw as all out the next morning <.<

The normal recharge time for a man is one hour, usually. Adam's only had a second orgasm under that time once, and he was amazing! o.o; Poor boy almost passed out. xD <333 I love have sex multiple times a day. It's great. ^_^ And he's so happy afterwards that he'll do just about anything. >>;;; I don't manipulate my husband, honest. D:< I just wanted someone to make a icecream cone, dammit.

Wow.. I've never seen that kind of turn around time from my husband.. I'd try, but he never wants to go twice om a row.. or even twice in one day..

I stay at my fiancés every weekend so that is the only time we get alot of time together .... and the only time we can have sex and the most we've done it in a day is twice (we were going to try three times but I got too tired, lol).
It can take me 5 minutes to recharge if I am in that mood, for my fiancé .... well .... not even that!

My husban'd to lazy to reply so here goes:
When we would steal away into the night (when we could only date once a month), he could go three to four times but only if I let him have a nap before the last one or two. We are anime freaks so for those of you who understand.

We used to play twice a day but not everyday. Then we had our daughater and it went down to once a week or so. Then our son came along. Now we may be together once a month. He's grumpy from work and I'm tired from the kids and doing housework. When we do manage some time together it is great though!

I couldn't do that!
He takes too long with just once, I'd die if there was more.
As it is, my sex-drive is random and it drives him nuts that I can welcome him every day for a week or reject him five out of seven days.
He never knows when to ask.
