Ohgosh, have any of you ever had to wield one?
I was barely 5' tall freshman year, and they made half of use use them...
I ended up learning how to toss a 10' flag and totally forgot how to use a 5' one until I relearned it xDDD

this was my first year, and we had six foot poles and like five foot silks, or soemthing close to that, though apparently last year or the year before they had swing flags that the silk was about ten feet long...o.o jeez a ten foot pole? that's insane.

Hmmm. . .The longest my guard has ever used is 7', and those things were a major pain in the rear. Their weighting. . .ew! I can't imagine how bad a 10' one must be. . .*shudders*
