There exists a world in which there are four dominating clans. These clans are tightly-knit communities, living in different territories, all fighting for one common purpose: power. Yes, these four clans are all fighting to gain ultimate control over the rest of the clans.

Each clan has distinct characteristics, much like every nation has a distinct culture. Magic is a powerful force in this world, embodied in different skills within each individual. The catch? With the power of magic comes restrictive conditions each clan must suffer.

Anger, bitterness, envy, greed, prejudice; these are the driving forces of the Clans.

C L A N S

S H A D O W :: Most of the individuals belonging to the shadow clan are assassins. They are swift and sly, with inhumanly enhanced speed. When it comes to magic, however, they hold less power than most of the other clans. They can only use one magic spell, and they can only live in darkness. They must take refuge when the sun rises, or they will find their lives and magic endangered. They are a bitter people, envious of the other clans, angered at their sentence of living in the darkness, never seeing the light.

M O O N L I G H T :: They are the most magically adapted, though they can only use their magical powers when the moon is out. Their physical strength comes secondary, and is at its peak when in the moonlight. They, unlike the shadow clan, can survive in shadows when the sun is out. Their power, however, suffers during the daylight.

A R A :: Their strength lies in their magic, far surpassing that of the other clans. They are less restricted than the other two clans, able to live in both light and darkness. Their physical strength is unaffected by time of day; their magic is most powerful at night.

D I G A :: They, too, can live in both the light and dark. Their physical strength is a dominant trait, not even a rival to the other Clans. They use their powers to live in the light, an advantage over the other Clans. Their great physical prowess, however, prevents them from the use of magic.


In these current times, the Diga Clan controls most of the Western continent. The Moonlight and Ara Clans are both fighting to overpower and defeat the Diga clan, though this does not inspire even a conditional nor temporary alliance. While battling with the Diga Clan, they are also at odds with each other. The Shadow Clan lives seething in the dark with a deep hatred of the other three Clans, out to thwart their quests for dominant power, wishing death upon all of their people.

Setting: In the northern western part of the eastern continent where the forest turns into snowy mountains. It is here, where the Moonlight and Ara clans will fight for a shrine at the top of one of the mountains. Little do they know, the Diga clan is plotting to land on the continent and attack from that point.
