I saw that little thread for the tubas. So here are the flute commandments!
1. Thou shalt not eat something sticky before playing thy flute. Trust me, not pretty.
2. Thou shalt not cause severe damage to thy flute during a sword-fight.
3. Thou shalt not deny a fellow flutist to look upon thy music when he/she forgets his/hers.
4. Thou shalt not rat out a fellow flute.
5. Thou shalt drive thy BD insane.
6. Thou shalt not cause bodily harm with thy flute.
7. Thou shalt giggle. Often.
8. Thou shalt annoy the tubas on every opportunity.
9. Thou shalt not leave thy flute in a compromising and dangerous situation.
10. Thou shalt always be there for thy fellow flutists.
NEW:
11: Thou shalt always play flat, except when everyone else is playing flat, at which time thou shalt play sharp
12: Whenever the low instruments are in hearing range, thou shalt be sure to complain about how big and heavy your case is.
13. Thou shalt play high and squeaky during the high notes, then, if caught, point towards the clarinets, whom are renowned for squeaking.
