For a long time I've heard of people who can't stand a certain place, and yet there they are, posting away like anybody else. What would be there that continues to attract them and draw them back time and again? Personally, I've left the places I couldn't grow a strong attachment to, and the same would've been said of Gaia, had I not met certain people. With the stricter rules(even within guilds, apparently), I've come to grow less fond of the site, but still manage to find something to enjoy about it(the social aspects, as well as a lot of the artists that come by my request). I would hope there is something left to attract me when the site has undergone it's complete transformation(into what, remains to be seen).
If you're wondering what prompted this, it was a letter I got from a moderator saying she deleted some of our sig banners that weren't kid friendly and also "don't do it again or ur banned LOL" I'm not a happy Vice Cap'n about that fact.

I don't blame you. That's a crock.
I can't stop going back to the GD and I am not really sure why...
Maybe I have perpetually low self esteem and going there to argue with the lesser minded gives me a boost...a little pathetic huh?

I got the letter as well, and replied with this:
"While I am Captain of the guild, I find it that the images aren't too much at all, which is why I allowed them. I will follow your suggestions, but I find it strange that while my guild's banners are too risque, you can find other people with worse sigs that do not receive so much as a slap in the wrist. I don't want to sound like a whining child, but please understand that what is "too much" is a subjective matter, and open to interpretation."
With this said, I will follow the guidelines in order to avoid trouble.

I dont know, some moderators are ok, and some are, well...power hungry. I know many mods who aren't crockschnocks, but I could name a few that I very well remember that are totally full of themselves.

She misunderstood my post for whining, but I explained myself quite clearly in my second response. I also mention Chikushou's account being banned for no reason, and to see if she could tell me what to do about those cases, but she hasn't responded. Go figure.
