today i got this call from barbizon model agency and they had an open call and they called me. frankly, i dont know why. i personally think im ugly and unproportioned. and you guys who are reading this probably dont care, but im nervous and thinking about not going. when i go there all the girls are probaly gonna be blonde sticks. should i go? sad

There are many different sizes of models...super slim and nice n' chubby.
You could let your insecurities get the best of you and not go, or you can take a chance and see what it's all about. The worst that can happen is they say they don't have anything for you to model and that's not the end of the world, is it? Nope.
It's better to take a chance than do nothing and later regret it.

There are so many things I could say at this moment, but I will only give two opinions:
1. You should go for it. It will increase your self-esteem if other people idolize you...BUT....
2. It is your own decision whether or not you want to accept. Just remember that people do care about you and think are a great person, inside and outside. biggrin

There are also modles with not really an extreme and just have actual shape. Well I can see why you would be hesitant whether you thought good of yourself or not! Heh I would wonder if this was REALLY an organization and not just a few jerk guys trying to scam me into some optimum trickery stressed .
But what are the chances of that!
Go for it! They called you didn't they? Why not? They think your fit for such a role. If this is selected out of multiple other people you still had the chance to live a dream some people would give much for...
3nodding Yeah! Like everyone else says. Just go ahead and take a shot! There are models for everything! Heh never know if they want to do a full body thing or not. But if they do and most likely the case Give it a go! As said before its the average peppy highly optimistic girl teen's first dream!
They even have anklet models ^^;. I personally would want to be a neck, hand, or wrist model. sweatdrop

I went through the same thing.. unfortunately I let my low self esteem get the best of me. I say you should go for it, personally now I look at her She was on America's Next top model. She got really far through the contest but at the end she let self esteem get to her too. But l;ook at her, she's beautiful. I'm sure she will make it as a plus sized model soon. Go for it girly. wink
