What games can you think of which give you the ability to customize your character?

(Think Fable, Knights of the Old Republic, Saints Row..)

I'm asking because my husband loves those kinds of games, but I have a feeling we already own all the ones he's really interested in.

Thanks so much!

I was gonna say Fable, but you already said that. Um...

Oh, I know! Drawn to Life for the DS! Nearly everything's customizable in that game! 3nodding

Oh!
I wouldn't have thought of Drawn to Life,
but it most certainly is the epitome of customization!

Animal Crossing: Wild World is also very customizable,
not only for your character but also the house that you live in.

Soul Calibur 3 had a really fun custom character mode.

And just about every MMO is very customizable,
such as Guild Wars and Neverwinter Nights 2.

There's also this one game that I got to play a demo for: Steambot Chronicals for the PS2. That's Steambot, instead of steamboat like what I first thought it was. sweatdrop lol

Anyways, you can (sort of) customize your character's apparence. Like, change his clothes, mostly, and it doesn't effect your stats. I think you might be able to change the appearence of the other playable characters as well, but I don't know for sure. Like I said, I only got to play a demo version. Looks like a fun mech-based RPG, though. 3nodding

If you liked Knights of the old republic then you might like Mass Effect it has a lot of customizations and on top of that you pick everything your character says.

It was done by the people who did Kotor
