The only thing that occurs to me is to use affirmations, such as:
I will astral project tonight
I will remember what I do
etc
Lucid dreaming techniques, and keeping a journal with you to write down anything that you recall might help you a little.

it seems someone (guardian, subconscous, etc) took the memory away. my friend has the same problem as you. its very common.

You might not be going there as you think you are. Have you tried heavy meditation and asking your spirtual guide for conceling. Plus dont be afraid to let it all go.
I beleive you can remember what happens if you really want to but you are going to have to work on it. It takes time and partice to get it right smile

i agree with ladydarkmoon I astral project at night to instead of sleeping i know because i remember going to my friends house in a "dream" and she said she thought she saw me that night and the bad thing about astral projecting at night is that your body gets rest but not your brain so your brain is tired but your body is fine!

you know when your sleeping sometimes and you feel a falling sensation and then your whole body jumps? thats an astral projection "bad landing"...

There is a somewhat simpler explanation. Do you remember when you dream? Since AP and dreaming are handled by the same part of memory (or...something like that) you need to get a high dream recall percentage before you start training to AP. I'll be the first to admit that this takes time (like nuclear fusion takes energy) but there's a simple guide to dream recall in the learning subforum.

ask your guardian angel.or light spirit to be with you before you do any experiment then, after praying, ask what you want to be done witout hurtung you or any one else, once you are positive and ready, put yourself in the heands of God and Do it, is awesome!

It could be possible that you, yourself did not astral project. Since your friends saw you, maybe when they astral projected, they created a being/replication of you without being aware of it.
I'm not saying this is the case, but I wanted to offer an alternative explanation.
