Koochie found herself in the comforting shade beneath a crippled ancient tree, the temeperature was reaching its hottest as mid-day arrived and caused the sunlight to be harsher than usual. She was on the outskirts of a small wooded area with a swamp to her left and an invitingly cool pond infront of her that shimmered as the sunlight hit the moving ripples. Her two developing pale pink feathered wings were outstretched above her head as a canvas to give her some shade, just in case the tree bizzarely lost all it's leaves and branches. Dipping her head fowards so her mane covered her eyes, she got ito a resting posistion and scowered the plain ahead of her, searching for food and/or another creature to give her company. Since Koochie was a foal, she had never met or even seen another Pegasus, Unicorn or Unisus, she had grew up thinking she was the only one who lived in this area and that everyone else had simply moved away or was deceased. The sparkling reflections from the water bounced off the surrounding trees and created a 'dsico ball' effect, it was rather calming and the teen soon found herself dozing off.

Misae had been following what seemed to be an old, disused path through the trees that she had discovered after waking. The heat of the day made her wish that she could enjoy it in the middle of the day, but she knew that if she went out in it, she would end up redder than those red fruits she had seen other unicorns and pegasi eat. She was trying to step quietly, unsure of what other creatures could be in this area of the trees when she stepped on a twig, snapping it with a loud "Crack".

The not-so-distant crack of a twig alerted Koochie that there was another creature in the vacinity, her ears instantly pricked up and slightly flickered as they tried to detect what had caused the disturbance like two mini radars. She couldn't visibly see anything but she was sure she had heard a noise and that her senses were decieveing her again. Rising to her feet, she trotted forward at a cautious pace and let out a high neigh, hoping that it would reach another type of horse like herself, rather than a predator who would use the call as a signal as to where she was. The teen raised a hoof defensely and stamped it fimrly into the ground with a snort, if the creature wasn't going to be appear, she would take it by suprise. Galloping fowards she whinnied at the top of her lungs and charged in any direction, assuming that the twig snapper was that way.

Misae was still mentally kicking herself when she heard the whinny of the other unisus and stepped back a step. Raising her head, she neighed back, wondering who could possibly be out this way. She kept her head up, ears swivelling and tail swishing softly, her body in full fight or flight mode. She was constantly scanning the small viewable area in front of her, hoping that whoever was out there was going to keep their distance too

A pale coloured Unicorn came into view and caused Koochie to skid to a halt, her whole body was thrown fowards by the sudden brake therefore she toppled head over heels and landed in a heap in the centre of a thick cloud of dust. Once the dust had settled and the Pegasus could see what was before her, she tossed her head backwards to clean her mane from dirt while shakily getting back onto all four legs rather than none. The fellow teen didn't look very threatening, it almost seemed to be intimidated by her being there, just as Koochie was when she was unaware about the presence of another. She eyed the Unicorn for a moment longer, her body staying perfectly stationary, she didn't want to alarm the female yet she wanted to bound in there and introduce herself.
