I was wondering if any of you thought that Hitsugaya might be too young to keep up with the rest of the Captains? question
He's very strong for his age, but the other captains dont seem to take him seriously sometimes. crying What do you think?

I don't think he's 'too young'' even though hitsugaya is younger than the other captains, he is very mature and a lot of the time is more mature than the older captains.

Hishou I don't think he's 'too young'' even though hitsugaya is younger than the other captains, he is very mature and a lot of the time is more mature than the older captains. I think he looked down apon because he is still considered a child but keeping up with the captain No. He can fight and still think logically even after being smack from the sky by Luppi. he has no issue there execpt height and tht icy temperment.

Hm..I do think the other Captains think he's a little boy who likes candy. An example of this would be Ukitake, but I know he means well.

Hitsugaya's pretty mature considering he's the youngest of all the captains. I think the only area where he would have trouble would be keeping his zanpakuto in bankai form for too long. I mean, since he's the youngest, he'll have the least experience with his bankai. But other than that, I think Hitsugaya won't have any trouble keeping up with the others.

He IS young, which makes him worthy of the name of 'genius'. But, since he is young, he lacks experience, which could be why he's less powerful than the other captains. If he were older, he'd probably be 'round the same level, since he learns quickly and strives hard to show everyone that he is worthy of their respect.

in my opinion, i believe hitsugaya is more grown up and mature than the other captains sometimes, like sometimes when the captains get in an arguement, hitsugaya is the one to stay level headed. and when he had his position taken away during the bounto incident, he took it well; unlike mayuri (i'm not sure i spelled that right) who would have mostly likely complained and argued about it. hitsugaya may be short, but he's awesome! heart

I don’t think he is too young. He does say his powers are not fully develop yet, but he is still strong. When most Captions need their Bankai Toshiro can use his Zanpakuto in its Shinki (hope it is spelled right). It has even been said that Toshiro will be powerful to take over the General Caption. All he needs is a little more training.

Well most of the other captains still use their shikai first too. I kind of agree with what Shunsui says about Toshiro in one of the episodes (can't remember right now but it's when he's fighting the Espada). Right now, Toshiro is one of the weaker of the captains. That can't be helped, as he's still only a kid. But years from now, given his potential it is likely that he will surpass many of the other captains. If he's this strong now, given the time and experience needed to improve on his skills, by the time he reaches their level, who knows how powerful he'll be.
