"Stop following me, Jacob!" The (ex-)angel called out as he grudgingly marched towards the cabin. He was not happy with the situation one bit, and now the fact that he had been followed after his embarrassing exile was not making it much better.
"Jesus, Curls. No need to take it out on me." He grinned inwardly at his choice of wording, anything to make matters worse. "It's not like I did anything." He beat his wings a few times and flew lower, closing in on his "prey."
That just about set Kalan off, but he had spent millenniums keeping himself from getting extremely angry. That was something he just felt should still be kept up, regardless of his current.. status. "Why are you even up here now, Jacob? Can't resist to see me humiliated even more?" It was horrible. He was exiled, he was stuck in this.. furry form, and now he was being pestered by that annoying demon yet again.
"I just wanted to see how being a renegade was treating you."
Hold the anger in... "I am not a renegade."
"Yes you are!" Jacob half giggled, half cackled. Oh how he loved when they were in denial. He flew lower, just above Kalan, and poked at the other's wings. "These would work if you weren't."
ARG. "Just go away, Jacob!" He started running, hoping to rid himself of this pest.
"What's the matter, golden boy, why not just fly?" He was going to enjoy this.

Things were a bit weird since he woke up around here. First he was stuck in this furry form, then there was the lack of familiar faces all around. His sister, his friends and comrades...Where were they all? He couldn't quite remember how he even got here. There was a large explosion...and he thought he died like any normal person would, but then he ended up here instead.
Perhaps it was the work of the Zodiac stones. They held tremedous power, enough to change someone into demons and whatnot. Surely teleportation was the least of its powers? Either way, the armored Kitsu felt rather lost in this large world as he continued down the path. Everything was so strange around here. So much forests and mountains everywhere...He could only hope there were others around here.
His golden-amber eyes gazed into the distance as he saw the large wooden cabin. That must mean someone lived around here. Maybe whoever it was could explain some things to him. Unless they held affiliation with the Church....Then things could turn out badly. He wouldn't want to get caught up in a battle by himself here in this strange, new form. Nothing could be worse than that...well, ok, there were worse things, but for the moment not much else.
Long ears perked up at the ringing of sounds in the distance. Two voices, both male. They weren't too far away, and they didn't sound familiar. For now he had to place trust that neither were affiliated with the Glabados Church. After all that he went through he wouldn't want to get caught here of all places.

Kalan did not know just how much longer he could take this. Jacob had bothered him ever since before their initial 'incident;' the one that got him kicked out. He couldn't stand him.. Sort of.
..No. That was a lie, it had to be. He couldn't stand him. Right?
Right.
But now, he was all alone and the only familiar face was an annoying one. He was about to ask just what he did to deserve this, but he already knew the answer to that.
He stopped running when he got to the steps of the cabin. Looks like this was it, his new prison. He sighed and sat down, tired after his terrible journey. Too tired to even fight of Jacob anymore.
"Don't tell me that tired you out, Curls. I've seen you do much more physical activity than that without getting tired." Of course, things were different now and he knew that. In fact, he even felt a bit sorry for the ex-angel. But Jacob had to be Jacob.
Taking advantage of the situation, Jacob landed just long enough to swipe the deactivated halo off the other kitsu's wrist and flew up into the air again. "Why are you still carting this thing around?"
Kalan wasn't quick enough to stop him when he did it, and now he was too far up for him to reach. This had to be some sort of punishment. "Why can't you leave me alone? Is it impossible or something?" he whined up at the demon. "Give it back, please."
Jacob was about to give some annoying, almost witty retort when a glint in the distance caught his eye. "Oooh, company!" He wanted to see more of these strange furry things he was currently in the guise of.

Whoever those two were seemed friendly enough. Ramza still held some doubts as to whether they were affiliated with the Church or not, as he was fairly well known and wanted in his home world. His head alone was probably worth enough to make a working-class family into at least an upper middle-class family wealth wise.
Either way, the dark haired one noticed him now. It was too late to turn back. "Hello," He called out just loud enough for the two to hear. "Do either of you know where we are?"

Jacob placed the stolen halo around one of his horns, to the dismay of the clearly distraught Kalan, and flew towards the newcomer. "Whoah, check out how this one's dressed! Preparing to storm the castle sometime today, guy?"
In the midst of the demon's 'fun,' Kalan had gotten himself up off the ground again and wandered over. "Ignore him, he just likes to ruin people's lives." He shot a glare up at Jacob, one that apparently went unnoticed because he was still flying around, getting a good look at this new guy.
"I don't know where we are, I'm afraid. There's a cabin over there though," he said, pointing in the direction he came from. "Maybe someone there does? I actually just got here, myself."

He shrugged his shoulders at the dark one's response. There wasn't much choice in his dressing attire. If he didn't wear armor he probably wouldn't be there at that moment. So many meaningless battles over the control of a country divided...War was an awful thing he didn't want to get caught up in. But certain circumstances threw him into the middle of it. He wasn't even trying to do the things he wanted to...He only wanted to save and help those who he loved.
A simple nod was his reponse to the light one's words. "That is a fairly good idea. Would you mind if I went with the two of you?"

Jacob frowned a little, this guy wasn't reacting at all. What fun was mocking others if you didn't get a rise out of them? No fun at all, that's what! Oh well. He'd stick to the angel.
"I'd rather he," he nodded up at Jacob, "wasn't there, actually. I wasn't planning on having him go anywhere with me, he sort of followed me here." And he'd request that he go back to where he came from right now, but the demon still had his halo. It was obvious just how much that was bothering him, too.
"Oh come on, Priscilla! You know you don't want to get rid of me at all. I think you like having me here, don't you?" He smirked and turned back to the other kitsu. "Come over here, shiney, the cabin's this way."

Ramza learned it was best to leave people alone. Besides, it didn't seem as if the dark one was doing much harm to the light one. Just some fun teasing between friends, he guessed. If he started assualting the other one, Ramza would react, but until then he would just remain calm as is. Nothing wrong with a little friendly teasing, right?
He gave a simple nod and followed quietly behind the two. They seemed nice enough so far. Hopefully the cabin could allow him to catch up on some much needed rest. Maybe they would have some food, too. He was starved.

Jacob took off, flying towards the cabin and leaving Kalan and the other kitsu behind. A lot of help he is, Kalan thought, if I hadn't been here, he would've just left this poor guy by himself. He shook his head and gestured in the direction Jacob flew. "He's no good, don't worry about listening to him. I'll show you how to get there."
He walked along, and then realized how rude he was being. "Oh, I'm sorry. I haven't introduced myself. Despite what that demon calls me, my name is Kalan. And he's Jacob. What's your name?"

Ramza's face gave away to a soft smile at the kindness of the two in front of him. Even though one was obviously more willing to openly show such feelings, he still knew the other wouldn't do anything too harmful unless a drastic situation called for it. They were nice Kitsus, and he hoped nothing foul would befall those two. With the luck he had, people who were kind to him usually ended up dying. The world back there was too cruel...
Jacob seemed nice enough. They didn't seem like they were affiliated with anyone bad. If they had usually they would declare such rather than lead him towards the cabin. "Ramza," he answered softly. "It's a pleasure to meet your aquaintence, Jacob."
