After all, they are very, very good friends.
And Shikamaru has said multiple times that he doesn't like women (they're too troublesome).
So it's totally canon.

For those two, it's my OTP, I love them together to bits and pieces, but really, polls that tell someone they suck because they DON'T like a pairing are really very rude... sweatdrop

ShikaChou = Win! Only man I'd let Shika-chuu be with. =D Then again...The only other person I let him be with is Temari...And I only let Chouji be with Shikamaru...Same goes for Temari. @-@ I'm a bit confusing. xD

Ohio is for SasuNaru ShikaChou = Win! Only man I'd let Shika-chuu be with. =D Then again...The only other person I let him be with is Temari...And I only let Chouji be with Shikamaru...Same goes for Temari. @-@ I'm a bit confusing. xD

I love ShikChou! ^^ Other the other way around!I think they'd be the most likely to hook up in the real series.I;d have to say they're my 2nd fav. pairing under LeeGaa.

Well they have been best friends for a long time. They could have some feelings for each other or developed some along the path to their friendship.
They always have each other's back and I think it's a really great couple

It's a good couple. At one point in the english version, it looked like Chouji was about to confess love to Shikamaru...
Besides, it seems like they've always had each other to count on and everything. Personally, I think it's a great couple.♥

A friend of mine pointed out that if you could make ChoTem work, you could have a threesome of ShikaChoTemari XD
But I do love ShikaCho. Rereading the Sasuke Retrieval arc has led to this love, especially given the flashbacks during Choji's battle. Choji's really sweet and understands Shikamaru, and Shikamaru's always stated that 'women are troublesome', which leads to possibilities.
ShikaCho - one of my (recently discovered) OTPs.

I think it's a really cute pairing, but I honestly see them more as really good friends. And if I didn't ship ChoujixIno (since it seems like he likes her, it would help her character if she fell for him, and becuase I always root for the underdog) and ShikaNeji so much, then I would deifinitely give it a chance to win me over.
