I want to start a thread about kill signatures. What better place to start one than in a guild full of assasins?
I read in a book once that when the Night Mother herself was still alive as a mortal and doing assasinations, she had a kind of call sign, or a signature, as we call it. She would take a white stone and a black stone and place them over the eyes of her dead victims, so everyone would know who did it, or at least so everyone would know it was done by the same person.
I don't have a signature, myself, but I'm trying to think of one.
So, does anyone here have their own signature? If so, what is it and explain why you chose it as your signature.

I have never thought about it... lol i'd probably remove a certain organ or body part knowing me and how insane i am.

Well I would rather have it the same type of kill (strangle with there own intestines or forcing there own stomach down there throat(my favorites))
but I would choose...hmm....breaking every joint in the body by bending it backwards
and in the game it wouldn't work because I use the staff of worms to make the body follow me to my house where I pile them up in a roomwith a book of Unlife in front of it (I have like 20 in my imperial city house)

If they're in a house with an open and active fire pit, I set the head in the fire covered with misc items from the house, and I cross the legs and spread the arms as if they were crucified.
Otherwise I kill and take all their clothes off xDD

When I kill someone, I rip open the back of their clothing, and carve the hand of Sithis into their flesh.

I suppose I could come up with something, like shooting them with a certain arrow somewhere... Hey, thats pretty good.

The Imperial Watch(or the local Town Guard, whatever), might just think that the arrow killed them. Then all that will tell them is he was killed by an archer. A good signature would tell them that it could have only been done by one person. Besides, you guys don't need to have a gruesome signature. Like i said, The Night Mother herself did something simple and easy, but still it conveyed the message that only one person could have done it. sephiroth-ck, now you say you'd shoot the dead corpse with an arrow? Try something that customizes that to you. Like maybe, try etching a design in the arrow shaft, and then put the symbol of the Black Hand on the arrow head. Then use that arrow to make the killing shot. Now THAT would be a good signature.

Burn a hand print into the upper-left portion of the victims back. After they're dead of course. lol

I have a signature; firing an arrow through one of their eyes as my initial attack. I always set my sneak skill as top priority and then archery and I have a special place that I get a hold of elven arrows with a fire enchantment, so that my victims die a fiery death with the tool of destruction blooming out of the back of their skulls.
Another soul to be cast into the black void.

hmmm, if we're talkign gaia, one of the contracts io did for 440, i killed some dude, cooked him into ramen and then devoured him. Believe it.

You didn't just quote "believe it" from Naruto! That would have to be my least favourite quote of all time... It's just kinda tacky and cliché.

my kills are elegant in their simplicity. i have a penchant for killing my targets while they sleep. Then as they lay in a pool of their own blood, i remove my glove and use their blood to put a hand print on their face.
