And the snow melted here, for the most part. It rained a bit today. @_@

It was pretty warm here, even on Halloween. It's always snowing, so you can't even see anyone's costumes under the snow gear. It was nice until last week. It got frakkin cold really fast. It went from like 50s or so to 10s like overnight. It's been snowing off and on, DK's waiting for a good blizzard. I dunno. I live super close to my job, it's vacation, so I can just cuddle under blankies with cocoa if it's too nasty. mrgreen
I have a love/hate relationship with snow though. Sometimes I really like how pretty it makes everything, but then I hate black ice, falling and seeing my superhigh energy bill.........

i had a temp job for the past 2 days that required me to be outside all day. the first day it was sloppy out and my feet were soaking wet, the 2nd day it was frozen and i kept slipping on the ice.
like Nienna said, i also have a love/hate thing for snow.
as long as i can be be all warm and snuggly at the end of the day, i love the snow, it can be so much fun. Sledding, building SnowDudes, snowball wars, i used to ski once upon a time, bundling up just to go outside, i live very close to the mountains which make for fabulous wintry scenes.
but, when you are slipping and falling on the ice, or even worse when you have to drive on ice-covered roads, or when you lose power and face a freezing home to live in, well that just takes all the fun away.

So Saturday it snowed all day. We got several inches of snow. Then it turned to ice rain. Sat night it rained ALL night and melted the snow leaving patches of ice. Sunday, it snowed again but just a little @_@ It's sunny today. The weather is bipolar or something. @_@
