So a fun thread just occurred to me. A thread where you post dreams and users try to figure out what they mean. This could be done seriously or in a rather light hearted manner. xD Anyone have a good dream recently?

..........ok, everytime i am about to have a beautiful/interesting/exciting/otherwise fantastical moment and/or event happen to me in a dream, there is ALWAYS an external event, ie children screeching, a knock on the door that is always LOUD, a cat knocks over something, the phone rings, just something that is absolutely impossible to ignore, happens at the precise moment to annihilate said-moment of dream ecstasy.
.............any thoughts on this?????????????
....................................or is this just me.......................... confused

It's just you.
Oh, I have a great dream.
A whole mass of people and I were standing on a high dive, (don't ask me how we all managed to stand up there) and we were bouncing toilet-bowl lids onto a pool full of cherry jello.
Analyse that.

This afternoon, I was waking up from my nap. I dreamt that my coworker who is a slow-talking lifer at the deli was actually one of my new Englist lit profs who went by the name Anne Something or other, who had a doctorate secretly. It was the only time I'll ever hear her use contractions or speak normal speed.
Plus, our class met partly inside in my old elementary school building and then outside near this grove of trees that got cut down to build the new chemistry building on campus.

Oh, I have a great dream.

First part last night was about Inuyasha, as me and DK were watching that before bed. The last part was me being blown around calling to people I've never met screaming for help. Then, right before I woke up, I was in a group singing a song from the Disney Robin Hood about Prince John at the tops of our lungs.

Yeah, most of the my dreams that I remember usually take place in a work environment. It's sort of a combination of some place I've worked and somewhere I've never been before. In the dream, I recognize that it's not my real workplace, but I can't control the dream, like with lucid dreaming. So I just keep working and then just as something different is about to happen, I wake up. But the work is so much better. I just do whatever I want and there are no managers around. xd Now that's a dream!
Sometimes I do have lucid dreams when I take Nyquil when I'm sick. I can't control the dream, but I can control my movements and actions.

I was watching a birth on TV, so it was on the brain. The mother's stomach was bulging as she was in labor, like when aliens are born and burst out ready to go. Instead of being scared, I was normal about seeing this.
The only other part was really scary, right before I woke up. I was looking out my bedroom window and all of a sudden there was this bomb there. I had just enough time to panic, then feel my skin getting warmer. Then, I was thinking that it was a dream, so I should wake myself up. But it didn't work. Then real me finally did wake up and that really unnerved me. I usually only have nightmares like that when I'm super stressed about something right before I sleep, which wasn't the case last night. That one sucked.

I've often thought of the alien/baby thing as actually being similar. I'm not sure about the bomb though. That's a new one for me.
I was having afight with someone at work (I don't remember who) and then I was angry about something else so I left. Then I was in a submarine looking frantically for what I know not. Right about then this guy was punching me in the stomach but it didn't hurt. That's when I woke up and realized that one of my cats was kneading my stomach trying to get me up.

I had my recurring dream last night. I'm in a place that's a mix of the familiar and nowhere I've ever been before. Over the past few weeks, instead of being carefree, I'm looking for something. When I find it (I can't remember what it is when I wake up), I have to hide it from someone while I try to figure out how to use it, whatever it is. I woke up this morning just a someone was coming up behind me.

Son of Beren I had my recurring dream last night. I'm in a place that's a mix of the familiar and nowhere I've ever been before. Over the past few weeks, instead of being carefree, I'm looking for something. When I find it (I can't remember what it is when I wake up), I have to hide it from someone while I try to figure out how to use it, whatever it is. I woke up this morning just a someone was coming up behind me. If it's recurring, it's bound to be an omen. It's telling you something and you've got to figure it out quick. On a side note, I barely remember any of my dreams. Heck, I barely sleep; hence almost no dreams. whee Throughout my life, so far, I only remember just around 3. One's a comedy; other 2 were nightmares. Heh, last night's was interesting. I saw this symbol [which looked like a boat... or a banana...] somewhere; I got curious so I looked it up on the 'net. I got to this webpage with that symbol. There's some pictures of guys in there, headshots. [One, in particular, was Asian. Facing to his left. Only one that I remember. He's the leader of the group.] Apparently, once someone goes into that site, you're automatically added to their blacklist. So I showed the website to my family, and right after they glanced at it, some ninja-looking guys were in our backyard. So I locked the backdoor, tossed the laptop [with the recharger] to my mom, told my dad to grab my sis, grabbed the few money that I have, pushed them out the front door, and ran out to the street in the middle of the night. [The neighborhood's in the middle of nowhere, by the way. The other houses seemed to be too quiet. Eerily quiet.] They were shooting at us, so we had to run among the tall grass. Next thing I know, we found some shelter, which looks like an apartment. We seemed to have escaped the gang. I told my mom to call my other sis, tell her about what's going on. Then my sis [the one that's with us] started singing---loudly. I told her to hush up. She got up to the door and opened her mouth again. One syllable went out. I was just eek . The door opened and one of the guys grabbed her. I followed, flung myself to the guy's back, trying to free my sis. Then one of the other guys were in the kitchen, right behind me, and started throwing me this glass. I was going to kick it away, but I woke up. 3nodding Yes, I know, very detailed. redface When I remember, I remember very well. Funny thing is, I seem to have control over my dreams towards the end. I dont think you can call it lucid, since I'm partially awake, but yeah.
